I have a tip for the fair slide for anyone. If you get a good beam with your first weapon, you can quickly swap weapons then holster before doing the faide slide. Then immediately while in the middle of doing the fade slide, if you play claw or something, you can pull out your secondary weapon mid air and start firing

The way I was explaining wall hopping/bouncing in my head was you slip/jump glance into wall and time your jump then aim in which ever direction the enemy my be or where you’re moving. But this is a solid Video

i highly recommend a combo of claw and paddles, i play claw over my buttons and have paddles on the back left of my controller which makes our casual slide jumping faster

If you jam the movment stick in a spacific spot top right or top left then spam the hell out of the crouch as fast as you can you gain running momentum while crouched (i found this out last night lol)

Yo bro great movement guide its great to.see.someone take the time to make such a high quality one. You didnt explain some stuff very well tho and missed one movement tech, you didnt explain ghost strafing well (u said it in the comments yourself tho), you didn't show off snuggle bouncing to its full extent, also you didn't do the variation of the mantle jump with a superjump, you also missed two techs, 1. The double wallbounce (which is situational but yeah) and also mantle crouches (on the floor and ziplines). You seem like a great dude tho and you are a great player, I'd love to play with you, if I get the opportunity, I'd be honored and I feel like I could show you a thing or two. im having trouble doing the super jump i how am i supposed to look up i hold square down but right when press x the first time it just sends me off im doing it in the fire range do you have to do it where you are or do you have a have a custom controller orrrr.... same thing with the sideways slide jump you have to look while pressing x and o I don't see how any controller player can do the super jump sideways slid jump mantle jump and elite jumping without having and custom controller with 2 or 4 buttons 2 of them being x n o for the slide jumps and square for the super jumping and mantle jumps

to wall jump, i struggled to get the timing down. you don't need to time it. after you've already slid and jumped, because you're in the air, spam jump until you're used to the timing. it will not affect the rest of your movement, as trying to jump, mid air without a wall or obstacle literally does nothing. so once you get the wall bounce down, you will spam less and less, until its just a simple press of buttons, and eventually, no longer have to think about it at all. (also, you don't NEED to slide jump, it just makes it easier, faster and smoother. simply having speed will suffice, its just a little harder to get down)

I feel on controller unless you play claw you almost have to make a choice on which movement techniques you want to be able to do more often and then adjust your layout accordingly - I have jump as x so super jumping & turning simultaneously can be a little tricky, but not impossible..and crouch is my R3 so supergliding is really awkward! - Im too set in my ways to change now - My paddles are set on interact and holster. Which does have it uses for some zipline movement & faide slides - but my fingers are 38 years old now,so a claw switch is out of the question for me now! Good luck to you twitchy digit kids tho... im sure u'll get it...just keep practicing.

on hold to crouch how do you slide jump without taking 3 steps? Cause on toggle i just holster take 1 step and i can slide jump but i tried hold but i just get dead slides unless i take 3 steps

If you watch the hand pumping animations or your legend while they run you'll have an easier time. When your left hand pumps upwards twice, you can initiate a slide jump without deadsliding. If you can time it right and memorize that pattern your slide jumps will be far more efficient and you'll be alot faster. ❤ good luck out there!

the same way you can catch speed by sliding off objects, im still confused as to why experienced players arent doing basic mantle jumps over EVERYTHING you can climb and mantle over. it doesnt take anything accept timing your jump right. its basicaly just a small mantle/superglide mix. and its helped me MANY, many times

How do you get into a game by yourself?

You can strafe off the jump pad >90 degrees using the double jump mechanic. You hold slide jump into the pad, holding the directional input that you would like to strafe to. Then slightly before and during your double jump you keep that directional input held look up and down quickly, press your double jump and start looking the direction that the input was held to. You will do a very fast tap strafe like movement but will no longer have the double jump, its very useful if your getting beamed off a pad and need to change direction.
