I don't know if people would have bothered to look it up. Ross is on every roast, and most people just tune him out. Guy is filler only brought in because he's a legacy roaster. But the reaction definitely brings eyes. I haven't watched the roast. I only searched up the roast to see if it was good, and first thing that pops up is the joke the upset Brady.

I don’t think they’re clueless. Jeff Ross has made a whole career on doing roasts for almost 30 years. If an “off limits topic” was on the list, he’d abide by that. It’s highly doubtful this is something that Tom Brady thought of and stuck out beforehand.
