One of the greatest ways to start on this process of change is through what is commonly called Affirmations. Affirmations are statements you say to yourself over and over and over and over DAILY with the emotional attachment element to it (a new belief usually takes 21 days). The emotional element is very important because it's how your subconscious will accept your affirmations. Your beliefs about who you are and how you perceive YOUR world is molded by those four factors.. Ask yourself who have you learned from most of your life, and who continues to FEED you with their WORDS? Are the WORDS you are hearing on a daily basis Empowering or Self Limiting? You have to be COURAGES enough and change your Environment if it's unhealthy for you. People. Are they negative around you, do your friends inspire, and empower you, are they great examples of who you want to become to recondition your thought process and attract the life you want? Information. Do you constantly feed your mind negative information, from news, social media.. Pay close attention to how it is making you feel! Experience. You only believe your past because you've EXPERIENCED IT! Forget the past and give yourself new EXPERIENCES!

I'm a gay man. When I was in college, I lived in an all male dorm. There was a guy who lived in the room next to mine whom I'll call Chuck. Chuck was a nice guy. We spoke and were friendly but far from being BFFs. I certainly didn't look at Chuck in a sexual way. One afternoon, Chuck came running down the hall after playing Ultimate Frisbee. He had on a pair of shorts, tennis shoes, and no shirt. He was sweaty and grinning from ear to ear. That day, he caught my attention for the first time. It bothered me because I didn't know why I was suddenly attracted to him. He really wasn't my type. The lesson that I soon learned was that ACTIVITY IS ATTRACTIVE. I wasn't attracted to him specifically, I was attracted because he looked like a champion ready to take the world by storm.
