I love Flukes this time of year... one of my favorite baits overall actually. I've found the paddle tails to be very effective when the water gets colder too.

Paddle tail Swim baits have been the only bait getting bites for me lately. I actually had my best day of fishing today of my entire life? Caught 26 largemouth at a local pond all on paddle tail swimbaits! I'm still in shock lol haven't had much luck the past few weeks until today.

You can use really whatever. Heavier line will keep the bait shallower and dull down the action. Lighter line will cast farther, give the bait better action and get deeper. But if your around cover you need to move up in lb test
