You need to try the Wrecking Ball Finesse worms from Interceptor Baits. Nothing beats the action of those. They come in 3.5", 5.25", & 8".

That Swamp pro bait is an epic baits mold. Hardly innovative since every bait maker can buy. Still a sweet bait though

Thank you for all the great info. Some days back I was curious to get some insight on how bass see color. And with so called science study purple is suppose to be one of the hardest colors for bass to distinguish with the lens of their eyes. I don’t know what to make of that science study, but commonly in ponds & creeks & rivers in the south Purple June Bug seems to be one great catch after another..
@pdubtk4219 сағат бұрын
Very true! Everything I throw in winter, crank baits, jerkbaits, jigs, etc. always have purple on them.

Another banger video Hank. I agree with your take on red. I had great success with it in the winter time when I lived in Oregon. I've also caught fish with it right now here in Fla. And that trick worm (and others) in the black color right now? Heck yea brother! #100percentwatchsquad

The LFS is a platform of reels not a specific model, there are multiple reels in that platform,the BB1, BB1 pro, the super duty are in the LFS platform, along with others. Stands for lighter, faster, stronger. There is also the SLP platform of reels lews makes. The one your talking about is the SSG1
@BassGeek12 сағат бұрын
Thanks I know. Most people refer to the Speed spool $99 as the LFS. It's just short hand like calling a bladed jig of any make a chatter bait or a lipless by any company a rattle trap.

I took your recommendations and went to Catch and got a couple,then went to KC’s and bought a couple of his “Nasty” crankbaits. 🫵👍🫵😂 You know I am pulling for you to break that 100K Subscribers # 🍀🍀🍀😎

In -Fisherman talking with the scientist. Suggest the bass eyes mite change form in the cold 🥶 somehow. Changing combs in there eyes making colors they see different. 🧐🧐. It’s a theory. But anything is possible. 🤷♂️

You think bass can actually see colors ? Some colors? all the way colir blind ?? Wgats your take on bass colir blindness Hank?
@BassGeekКүн бұрын
I do think bass can see colors we know they can see red until you get down to about 5-10 feet. So they are not color blind

I'm with you. I definitely like more purples, pinks, ajd chartreuses (even if its an accent) this time of year. I"ve had some days this winter where a morning dawn robo on a shakey head was the day saver..
@BassGeekКүн бұрын
They the bright colors or the dark colors. OR A MIX
@mattfleming86Күн бұрын
@BassGeek Yup just depends on lighting. People freak on color but I go with "Stands out, but not too much." And dial that to conditions. Sometimes you want reflected sunlight, sometimes you want good silhouette. Sometimes you need it to do both. In winter those punchier colors give that stressed/dying baitfish "pop" especially white and chart (bass don't really see green like we do) A healthy shad is almost gray but the closer to death they get, the paler they get.
