The awesome and nostalgic remake of Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars really was an extreme dream come true! As much as I remember and like it, I still really wish Mallow and Geno could return in some or even many more Mario games following their major one-time debuts. They had such an awesome adventure with Mario Bowser, and Peach. I wish they no longer only appear one major time.

​@@LittleAl016 When you land a timed hit, it does some splash damage, which makes some fights easier, and it also speeds up trash combat significantly. The Game was never hard in the first place; There's a handful of endgame encounters that will be somewhat like a puzzle, they're harder than the base game, so they have that going for them. Also, keep in mind a lot of people saying it's piss easy are approaching a game made for young teens 30 years ago, with the knowledge of the internet, so they know every single trick and, in some cases, literally know all the framedata to land perfect hits 99% of the time.

My favorite remake on the Switch is Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door! I had never had the opportunity to play the original, so I was thrilled when I heard about this remake! The story is so awesome, and it looks amazing! I wish you had waited until the release of it to make this video.

Super Mario RPG was fantastic to play again. I also think you could have included Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, which I found far preferable to play over the Wii's waggle-crazed original.

I'm still mad at the Link's Awakening remake, they somehow managed to preserve a bug that sometimes makes it impossible to finish the game because a Marin doesn't go where she's supposed to go for a key moment.

Seems like it truly is a faithful remake, even down to its faults. Kinda like Pokémon BDSP. But the Link’s Awakening remake is still far better because it’s not rushed, and it’s remaking a game that’s actually good.

How did MK8 Deluxe not make the list? A bunch of new characters, all the DLC cups from the Wii U version, 48 new tracks, 60 FPS and lets be blunt, a battle mode that isnt an atrocious trainwreck.

I was extremely dissatisfied with Mario RPG. Not only was the game made mindlessly easy (I literally beat some bosses without taking a single point of damage), but I actually found the graphics to be worse than the original due to poor presentation during certain cutscenes and gameplay elements. That said, it was still fun, but only because it was Mario RPG. Between that and the original though, I would never replay the remake again.

I hope someday Nintendo finds a way to remake Golden Sun and make it so you can customize (read: rename) all eight characters in one go. Earthbound too, because if we can never get Mother 3 out of Japan, they should remake the second game with 3D graphics and terms faithful to the original Japanese text that stuck in Super Smash Bros., where Ness and Lucas are prominent.

When Ty Richardson said "Why the omni-directional movement instead of the full three hundred-sixty degrees?", HE MEANS IT! AND NO, TY! THAT CHAMBER DUNGEON WAS HATED BY MANY! SHOULD'VE BEEN REMOVED FOR A LOT MORE MEANINGFUL CONTENT! Was it so hard for Nintendo to have a 2D Zelda game to capture the magic that was A Link Between Worlds? That 2D Zelda was so special because of full 360 degree movement which makes controls more smoother than any other 2D Zelda.

Kirby's Return to Dreamland Deluxe was a really good remake like we have new abilities, a new side story mode for Magolor, a minigame collection based around Merry Magoland, masks, and everything else but I just don't like the new design of King Dedede he looks like a Club Penguin design and I just hate it so I hope HAL Laboratory does not keep or permanently use this club penguin design of King Dedede in new Kirby games like I know it's King Dedede's design from 64 but still he looks like a club penguin but I hope they don't use that new design of Dedede at all and since this year it was Kirby's 32nd Anniversary it would be cool to see full-on remakes of both Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot and also new side story modes for both Taranza and Susie like that would be cool for HAL Laboratory to do for the switch so then we would have every modern 2D Kirby game in one console

@@Leopez02 demakes are fanprojects. Releasing a game in the style of how games were made many years before its actuall release. For example Bloodborne was officially released for the ps4 but a fan worked on a bloodborne that looks and feels like a ps1 game. My comment was actually nettling nintendo for porting mordern new games on the switch that look like garbage on this system so you could asume that those games were demade specifically for the switch like mortal combat one or the outer worlds. Sorry for any confusion. 😅

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are actually the best pokemon remakes on the Switch. Lets Go is fine but is let down by the multiple changes/additions. Especially mega evolution which had no business being in that game. Also Zelda will never be the best at anything since it is a bad franchise.
