Thank you for the great travel log, I lived in Lauderdale By the Sea for many years, it's a great place. I would recommend to anyone visiting to take the Bonnet House tour, it's like taking a step back 100 years in the past, the shell collection is amazing.

Yeah, the Ft. Lauderdale area really could use a theme park again. There used to be Pirates World, Safari World, Ocean World, Six Flags Atlantis, Grand Prix Race-a-Rama, ect. We need something with thrill rides and dark rides! Something besides beaches, museums, nightclubs, and the swamp.

That would actually sound perfect. I live in Orlando now and looking to move to a beautiful "beachy town" and Fort Lauderdale seems perfect. Buuut if we could get those amusement parks in that would be amazing. Other than ocean world I wonder why they got rid of all of them- it's a shame. Maybe the hurricanes?

I prefer a city like Hallandale beach Florida it’s just beautiful and the restaurants and nightlife is amazing, and Hollywood Beach walk is beautiful and full with bars and restaurants lounges.
