My moment was loooong ago when pokemon gold and silver had just come out. I had beaten the game and was just sauntering around looking for little places to explode when a path I'd taken near the beginning of the game seemed to keep going and going and going and ended up becoming Kanto the first pokemon game which let you go and explore an entire other region. it was awesome and I felt awesome

The 2 things mentioned about Journey are exactly the 2 memorable moments of the game I experienced as well. Realizing I was playing with a real person was an amazing experience for me. Also, I remember getting butterflies in my stomach and I couldn't help but smile during that gliding scene. Never has a game made me feel that way before from what I can remember.

My first big videogame omg moment was playing Legend of Zelda. For the first time being able to save what you did and continue where you left off. After playing atari 2600 for 6 years and everything being point based Zelda seemed so revolutionary at the time. And i agree with Rob on ff7 when you finaly leave Midgar and see that there is yet a bigger world to explore. Yes the moment i saw an open feild of green and mountains in the distance i did say O.M.G.

The first omg moment I ever had was when you removed the first curse in Okami. The camera pans around the landscape as a wave of flowers extends all around. The wind starts blowing and the water seemed to shimmer and come to life.

Biggest OMG that happens to gamers is, when there's a game that you played all your childhood and you know everything about it, you return once a year or two to replay it again, and you discovere something New (feature, mission, dialogue, secrets ), all those years and replay's and the game keep's to amaze how much more it can contain that you never discovered when you was a kid.
