Glad to see you back Jordan...at least for the time being. I've only read three of the books you mention. Also I've read bits of Plato's apology as well. Keep up the good work!

Hey man, thanks for watching. I'm probably not going to be able to make it with you and Philip (much as I'd like to) but I do want to have you on my channel in early 2024, likely in February or March. It'll probably be you and another guest, if you're interested. I hope you'll consider. :) Happy Thanksgiving, and good to hear from you!

Socrates' knowledge of human's lack of knowledge is very meaningful and helpful to me.

Yes, epistemic humility is so incredibly important. It's necessary to understand how little we really know or are even capable of knowing.

I read A Time to Kill back in the day (and The Firm). I'll have to check out The Rainmaker. Yep To Kill a Mockingbird... one of my favs! BLEAK HOUSE!!! I read part of it this year and decided i wanted to start Dickens from the beginning (minus A Christmas Carol since I'll be rereading it in December). I was really enjoying it and I'm reading Sketches by Boz now and Pickwick Papers with a friend in January. You've given quite a list to check out!

Thanks for watching. Yes, The Rainmaker is so much fun. As for Dickens, I would recommend starting with Great Expectations, then moving to David Copperfield, then Christmas Carol, then maybe Tale of Two Cities, then maybe Oliver Twist. Confession: I still haven't read The Pickwick Papers.

Lol. Thanks for the suggestions! I've been practicing strengthening my Victorian reading muscles the past 2 years and I've committed to Pickwick with a friend so we shall see. I was really enjoying Bleak House but was feeling bogged down with a big book plus the other things I was reading at the time. I'm excited to do a reread of A Tale of Two Cities since I haven't read it since high school many light years ago. 😂

Cheers! And thanks for watching! Yes, Presumed Innocent is sooo good. I've been told that book 2 in that series is even better. :)
