joined a new company as a business development manager and by all means, this video is the best, simply straight to the point and cuts lots of research especially for people like me who don't know where to start

what he mentioned on his video are perfect tips, this is what I actually do on daily basis. Business Development can be Sales Focused / Marketing / strategy or even account management depending on the industry and service or product that your working on.

Great to see someone actually explaining the true nature of biz dev. Thought it was lost with all the Startup companies basing business growth on popularity! Great video!

I like Jason Nazar. He does come across well. Very precise information. Unlike many other videos of this type on YT, he does 'gain my interest'. Hes good. Very good. Even if he has a dodgy beard.

believe that not really the business is hard, but the implementation of it, and this I believe gives you the key to the implementation. The way you give the tips is so good, I enjoyed this video. Thanks a lot.

Decent foundational entry level info. However sounds soft and operations type when he said generating new business is mostly about warm openings. Total BS. My business is 90% referrals however the best of the best don't rely on that method. That's a bonus. Top 1% are focused on activity, relationships, intentionally, processes, strategy, and outworking people. Content is simply a validation piece. Pls keep focusing on content is king vs building rapport and being different. Thank you

After 6 years you get an answer 😄 it means that you mustn’t spend a lot of time to prepare and send the potential customer much information and try to give them all information you have in mind. Because if they really need specific answers or information, they will ask about them. Otherwise all your prepared information will not taken care about it from your customer.

Business development is about finding new businesses, new products, new serveices, new types of business... Marketing is about finding ways of your business (business yet developed) to customers. So better name could be Marketing development.
@eds9384
@eds9384 8 жыл бұрын
While I see where you're coming from, Business Development in common parlance refers to a function that is closely related to Sales, but somewhat broader in that it could also include strategic alliances and other partnerships. The common denominator is that whatever you're doing in Business Development, it's to generate more revenue by working with external parties, in which case the "keys" to each step will be what is outlined in this video. Your point about finding new businesses, products and services would more accurately and clearly be referred to as developing new business models. And finally, Marketing I'm sure you're familiar with, but it generally refers to forming a strategy about what message to send to which customers, and then using various marketing channels to push the message out. This is a more general form of outreach compared to Business Development and Sales which are both 1-on-1 with a client or partner. Marketing would also include other tactics to increase awareness and demand such as pricing and promotions.

Michal Tiller hi everybodyThere are no coincidence in this life and I know for sure that God is giving all of us the chance to know him better and to make a relationship with him , and have a great life the answer is the prophet Muhammed Peace be upon him , he is the latest messenger from God to all mankind , Muslims were once the leaders of the world when they were practicing the commandement of the Coran , I know that you will delete this message but please take a few minutes of your time and make some research about it . I am sending this message to everyone I can reach , everyone deserve to know the truth , Peace be with you and good luck.

This sounds so horrible. So not only do you need a great product, but you need to basically beg for people to take it, follow up, hear rejection, manage deals, be a good little boy scout until they maybe buy next quarter? When did a business ever chase you like that? Four Seasons, McDonalds? They spend time figuring out what people want and sell it, done.
