About the time that he felt so down that his career was going nowhere already.. No offers.. No singing engagements.. No invites to guest, it was in 2015. He admitted that in his interview lately with Boy Abunda. He said he already thought of quitting the singing business. He felt no one wants him anymore. He said, he have his 2 hardware stores where he can concentrate on so he can forget singing. Guess who told him not to quit!? I think you know.. His ever supportive wife Joan. She told him at that time he wanted to quit... " As long as you still have a voice to share, don't quit. Keep on singing. We'll find a way to make them recognize you again. I'll help you. " That was the time his wife started looking for singing engagements for him. That was also the time he started singing on the Wish Bus again. Joan wants a medium where many, not only in the Philippines, can hear him sing and showcase his talent. And the first step in on that wonderful Wish Bus. And the rest was history. I really admire his wife Joan for all she has done for her husband. If not for her, we might not have heard Marcelito sing again. So kudos to Joan 💖💖💖 Love you both. 💖💖💖 I hope this information will help you understand him more. I heard your comment here on this video that you were asking when did this happen where he was about to quit. So I felt that since no one has commented about it yet, I'll be sharing it with you myself. 😁😁😁

According to his wife, it was 2015 when his career got cold. No more shows, no guesting on TV. So his wife did something like events, and some competitions and at the end of the events marcelito sing so that he felt that his still in a world that he truly love.then 1 day there was a radio program that inviting him.so his wife push him to guest and that was the started of his career to boom again. And thats time to start his international invitations events.of course his wife is 1 whose arranged everything.thats why I salute to Joan.she guided marcelito to get back on limelights again.what a beautiful and loving wife to him.

Another thing that Marcelito does every year is to celebrate his birthday , inviting children and their family to this event , ...they play games with the the kids , lots of gifts to take home like sack of rice , footwear’s. Clothings etc, and of course lots of food for everyone to enjoy . He said that.he likes doing this because of him being homeless before and wants to share his blessings .
