Memento/Takeaways: 1. To improve, be willing to do hard things you've never done before. 2. Find out what everyone else is doing right that you're not. 3. You're not as far as you think 4. Repeatedly taking the easier path will lead to misery 5. When you think you cannot improve any further, you will hit a wall 6. Thinking about defeat leads nowhere, rather think of what can be done. 7. Before being anything you identify yourself as, you are a person 8. Think of what would the "ultimate version of you" do. Then act accordingly. 9. What's worst: attempting something that goes wrong or never trying? 10. When done correctly, ego is a good thing, so be more of a egoist (controlled) Bonus: Even the worst case scenario is better than a lifetime on the sidelines ( that one hit hard!)

A really hard quote is when isagi said “No matter how much you knock on the door to a persons heart, people dont change for you, that’s why it’s always you who has to change.”

Blue lock's core may be about finding the best striker in the world through the benefits of egoism and selfishness but definitely the most special thing about it, is the way those lessons can be aplied to our everyday lifes and still make us improve on the long run. I think watching this series sparked a little bit of the fire and inspiration I had as a child of becoming the best at what I do. This feeling truly makes you evolve into something special

The fact that those videos are made to make lessons to be better in life AND has subtitles instantly, for an Indian that have problems with English, it's very helpful, thank you appreciate your work

No worries man - I hope they're OK, I just copy paste the script into KZbin and it does the timings automatically, seems fine from what I've heard though?

One of my favorite lines is also in that Team V vs Team Z match where Bachira says something that goes along the lines of "We should be excited, not scared when we're in a desperate situation" and this is something that I try to always apply to any situation in my life. Whenever we face something, perceiving it as more of a challenge, to prove your self rather than a problem. Its this change of mindset that enabled me to tackle any situation that comes into my life.

i myself am a footballer and let me tell u this anime gave me the biggest wake up call ive had in my life i went from doubting myself as a right back mindlessly kicking around a ball to becoming a right winger a creator of plays and overall adapting to each loss and training to make up for those losses By learning myself new things over and over. U getting knocked down on ur ass is needed for u to evolve further as i was always losing ive been on the bottom of the barrel and im thankfull for it for making me reach things i would never thought of achieving before like becoming back to back champion in 2 seasons.

My favorite lesson comes after Isagi and his team goes against and barely loses against the top 3 at blue lock (the anime season finale), where they talk about the difference between luck and chance. Chance is the randomness in the world you can't control that has certain probabilities of occurring, and luck is the ability to *recognize* those probabilities, and placing yourself (sometimes physically, sometimes mentally) in a position where you can be the first to capitalize on said chance. Basically calling out all people who complain about luck when only relying on the half that's chance, and completely ignoring the half that is analyzing the chances and making it more likely that you'll succeed.

This is 6 months old and you probably won't see this, but holy shit, Barou is so inspirational with that entire you don't want to repeat a mistake once because it's "okay." I'm only a teenager, and I have crowns because "one day brushing my teeth won't be that bad," and when you do that NIGHT on NIGHT on NIGHT on top of horrible genetic tooth quality... I really wish I could've watched Barou's story a long time ago.

You are such a big help for me bcs just after 6 months i left my art school bcs i realised that its not the right way for me to become a manga artist but since last week i am not doing anything just making plans from where to learn online without even thinking what do i have to change in my habits which would give me more success than a degree also im studying Japanese and my goal is to clear jlpt n3 level in one year which is again a big goal towards which im not taking any action and feeling anxious BUT right now i feel like confident and courageous to start doing studies alone thank you so much for sharing these lessons with us 🥰 .....

No, since the fall of man, we should trust in God, not ourselves. Yes, strive, under God, and don't give up. But striving on your own will only lead to sorrow.
