Both Covenant and Romulus are proof that the film makers LOVE Alien Resurrection. It's like Godzilla 1998 - a movie that everyone secretly loves but never wants to admit it. I still think Resurrection is the most disturbing film in the series due to Ripleys clones, it was just executed in an over the top, almost cartoonish way rather than the body horror of Romulus, which may actually even surpass it as the most violent film in the series. The Neomorphs are a disturbing rip off of Ripleys clones, though they were even creepier, and the Offspring is basically The Newborn all over again, making the Newborn feel amost surreal knowing there was such a hybrid already 200 years prior.

Resurrection has great idea the execution was horrible that's why it failed it suffered the 97-2006 horror troupe, I blame holly wood they didn't know what to do in the horror genre so many remakes or beyond dead franchise sequels that was spewed in those years .

If Engineers + Goo = humans then how is it possible that humans +goo = Xenomorph??? I love the Alien franchise, it seems like we’re missing a piece of information. We saw the deacon in the mural on Prometheus, so if the aliens are a perfect living organism, why do we continue to beat them? They don’t need us to help them procreate, or to lay eggs or for the eggs to hatch. And where is David?

We don't know if they even care about what happened in those movies now and also why is it so hard to understand that the engineers knew exactly how to use the goo in ways to make humans or other stuff and what we saw happen was just a random mutation as all the girl did was inject herself with it instead of other processes or versions of the goo the engineers would have used.

The goo in Romolus was synthesized, basically processed. It was altered and experimented with my the Romulus crew and that droid. The goo in its purest form still has many mystieries that need to be solved. The offspring is a direct results of the newly synthesized black goo.
