you’re right! A noldorin fortress built by Finrod the Faithful, taken and perverted by Sauron, and doubly accursed after Finrod died there. I’m imagining what a twisted, poisoned beauty it must’ve had. It could’ve been a thousand times worse than Minas Morgul.
