Real talk; The concept of Volcanics simulating the use of real-world ammunition (maybe even too close), is one of the reasons why I love them. You use the first rounds, only to recycle and reload them again. Oh, and they also do "some" burn damage on the way. Day 241 of waiting for new Volcanic support to arrive

I really like these kinds of start, it helps getting interested in the video way faster. Some videos need an introduction & others not ! Also, the list is great, most of the decks I could think of were shown & you explained their gimmicks pretty well. Amorphage, Dream Mirror & Infernoid are quite unique too !

You can't summon a Paleozoic trap from grave if you activate stuff like solemn strike since the Paleozoic trap in grave must be chained to a trap card activated on the field and you can't chain a spell speed 2 card in response to a spell speed 3 card

@MrTaikobo5 жыл бұрын
I know everyone else said this but, having no intro is weird. I’m so used to everyone on TeamAPS talk about the content at hand, and then have small tidbits of side talk, and that made the videos feel like I was in a setting with a bunch of friends who were just having fun. I do like that the video was straight to the point, and I enjoy some of the archetypes that were discussed, like Mekk-Knights and Darklords. I’d say another unique archetype would be Cyber Angels, with their ability to swarm the field and gain searches off of Benten being used as ritual fodder. Typically you see Benten and Vanity’s Ruler being used in Nekroz, but you can also attach them to Herald of Perfection and Archlord Kristya. Another thing about Cyber Angels are the varied effects that each card has, such as Idaten which gives a power boost, Vrash that can attack multiple times, to name a few. Hell, if you check out JadenBR’s channel, he shows how Cyber Angels can be used alongside both Herald and Nekroz of Unicore while also using Gale Dogra.
@j123i4 жыл бұрын
Drytrons were made to support Ritual archetypes, but their R. Spell is SO generic and reusable! And with the other Ritual-Searching monsters still around (Herald Synchro, Benten, etc.), well...
@Affectionateflower5 жыл бұрын
Honestly when I think about it True Dracos are really unique too! Think about it: you’re tributing spells and traps to summon monsters, and the monsters can then activate spells and traps from the deck! It’s crazy!
@jeremyadkins96655 жыл бұрын
Honorable Mentions: 1. Yosenjus: Normal Summons have gone by the wayside, currently, but this deck makes them far more important. Add in the new support, and you got yourself a hard-hitting Spirit-like swarm archetype. 2. Dangers: Now used as an engine for quick draws, but the concept of playing hide-and-seek with the opponent and your cards is interesting. 3. Zoodiac: The ability to Xyz climb with only one card is insane, period.
@AkioKota5 жыл бұрын
Also surprised by no into. I kinda like having at least a sentence or two before getting into it, but I definitely like the faster pace. Keep it fun!
@muhamadamir61935 жыл бұрын
I’m surprised nobody is talking about the U.A. archetype. I mean they literally have the power to sub in and out of the field constantly which like refreshes their effects and sheds any effects that are applied on the card. They’re literally like real athletes subbing in and out during the course of a game.

I think it's good to mix it up; I really liked the fast start (even got a chuckle), but maybe not for every video. The variety can also add to your dynamic of an already versatile Yu-Gi-Oh channel, which is already the best on KZbin! Interesting topic, I'd honestly agree Mekk-Knights are the most interesting as well!

There have been a few monsters that attack while in defense mode before the deck, but Sumorais are the first ones who actually use their defense stats when attacking this way. I always found this odd that the others don't do this. However, I'd say the more unique aspect of this archetype is their reliance of having no spells or traps in your graveyard, forcing you to play around this.

So the faster presentation made this video a lot better.
