Africa is still being manipulated by the west and now china every battery in cars and mobile phones comes from Congo … the largest mining project has just started in Guinea… these contracts are skewed to not favour African interest I don’t blame Wes and the other brother for their views because opinions are based their on experience… but this conversation needs a second episode because it wasn’t given justice… one of my mates crossed the Sahara desert via Libya Alhamdulilah he done his degree and works in a top five consulting firm … refugee life isn’t for the faint hearted Also regarding Indians during colonial times Indians were used to administer the so called empire than the common wealth the British sent Indians to administer east Africa and the West Indies … and Uganda till Idi Amin kicked them out … now the Same Indian ( sunak) is still being used

To whomever is holding the camera. Conversations, debates are when one side allows the other side to state their arguments and points without interruption or condescension. Just because you have a phone in africa doesn't mean you are rich. Constant interruption comes across mad ignorant especially when geopolitics is being explained but being shouted over with banal insipidity. Let's learn my brothers and uplift. This channel is a force for interesting convo and learning.

I don’t partake in debates I find them silly. The episodes that you watch are just conversations between friends. Your comment in regards to having the phone etc is silly as that’s not what was said. Nevertheless, big up you for watching and I hope that you find more things to comment on in future

The issue here is they can't grasp or understand what Chzo is explaining or them because they are have a western mentality and where raised in a western country. Until they visit the country(Nigeria), not just like a holiday where you see things on surface level..but spend some time there on the ground to experience the reality, they will understand where Chzo is coming from. In a nutshell you can't solve Africa (Nigeria problem) with a western idea way of thinking.

Wes reminds me of myself a lot in my 20's. We are an exact carbon copy, because i watch the channel a lot and i have heard him speak a lot, literally sounds like me. All i am going to say is that he's still in his 20's by the time he gets to his 30's like how i am now his eyes would be a lot more opened and would have experience a lot more. A lot of what he says is based on theory. He has not lived it or has not seen life really, yet. Never be too judgemental because there are layers to everything. Likewise understand that just because you have followed all the correct steps does not guarantee success or anything. There will be a lot of people that have done everything right and still failed.
@Wesmckenzie8 ай бұрын
I appreciate your balanced comment brother. Although I don’t know you, you seem to have seen similarities between us which is cool. I completely agree with you in a sense that everything I am saying here is theory as I have not personally lived it myself. I think what’s key here is I was trying to speak hypothetically. As I said in the video and I’ll say it again here, I completely appreciate things may be more difficult for people from certain backgrounds, in this case obtaining visas/immigrating etc What’s important to add is that I was essentially “troubleshooting” a problem as that’s how my mind works so the things I’m saying to Chiso are ideas so I can explore the possibilities/likelihood of working. What I didn’t like was the finding a problem for every solution element as like I mentioned in the video that to me isn’t the Chiso I know off camera, I’d say he’s the opposite. I later noticed he was being super empathetic where I wasn’t and that for me is where I found the disconnect to be as similar to myself Chiso connects with people and their struggles and wants to help them. When I clocked his stand point I steered the conversation another way to create some sort of conclusion which is why I said I was glad when he said “nobody is coming to save you, but be grateful if they do” as that’s essentially the message of the channel and we both share that view point. I could write forever about this as I’m sure you could if we are that similar. I think my closing point would be im super different from anyone I meet in a sense of I don’t believe anything is impossible. I also know that it is possible to go from many places in Africa to the UK and obtain permanent residency as I have seen that through friends inclusive of Nigeria. I think as well for pure example if I found myself in Nigeria or another place where I am on the other end of injustice, rather than sit and complain or give up I’d probably be one of the man that try to swim to the UK or hide in a plane, maybe I’d take the L with that but if there’s a 1% chance it works and that’s the last idea I got I’d do it. I’d prefer that outcome than to give up like I feel majority of the people that have commented here would. Get rich or die trying essentially - Make it to a better quality of life or take the L trying Genuinely, thank you for watching the channel as long as you have though my bro. 👊🏽

Just because something is possible, doesn't mean it's realistic. It's like trying to tell someone "why can't you just become a pl footballer? Look at Saka?" In REALITY, less than 0.5% of people go pro. Meaning only 5 people out of 1,000 make it. So it's disingenuous to paint the other 995 as not working hard enough. @@Wesmckenzie fairs. I was more annoyed at the fact you didn’t let chzo land about the flights topic, I’m born and raised London, and in touch with my roots in GH. I remember the topic about savings and you said how is it not possible to save? You need to be in touch with reality and some learning to do. In GH the monthly salary is a weeks wage here let’s say £300 minimum if lucky. 70% are earning £100 a month. So how’s it possible to come to UK that easy? Just be in reality bro
@Wesmckenzie8 ай бұрын
@@96bgn75 Admittedly it was just all of us talking over each other but it happens sometimes. In regards to the comment about how is it not possible to save, if you are referring to london then there is no excuse in my opinion. The key variable separating a person from increasing their income is information, in my opinion. There are actionable things that I could personally tell you that could earn you an extra £400/£500 a month from a tablet or laptop. If you're working a normal job and doing 50+ hours a week and a side hustle (+£300 lets say) and you still cant save then its not a money making issue its an inability to retain money. I don't know the situation or infrastructure in GH so I wont speak on that. However, I will say that in 2024 if you have access to a mobile/computer and wifi the only thing separating you from making more money is information and the application of it. You keep saying live in reality but everyone's reality is different my bro I opt to live in the one where my mentality does not impact my ability to achieve or my earn the money I want. I don't think theres shame in not having money, I've been broke many times I just don't think people try as hard as they say

For every problem, there’s a solution - This is the point for me that I’m trying to get across. I don’t personally like accepting the “it’s too difficult” excuse for XYZ reason cos no matter who you are or where you come from there’s someone who has had it worse and has succeeded past what you can even dream to achieve for yourself in your reality. I always think if that Donny can do it, why can’t I? I even said in the video though, maybe it’s just me and maybe I’m mad/delusional.
