I think the position clarke was put in, to make the list, is extremely complicated because she has to think logically and not emotionally. The harsh reality is that just because someone's part of the original the 100 that doesn't make them more worthy of surviving, even if they deserve to. The fact that clarke didn't put monty on the list was fucked up because monty's brain is very essencial for their survival, just like raven's and all the engineers they have. I perfectly understand clarke not putting jasper on the list tho cause he really doesn't play a part in their survival in this situation. The whole point of surviving in this case is to keep the human race alive and if they don't put engineers, doctors and leaders above everyone else, there's no way they're surviving. they really have no right to be mad at clarke when she's the only one with the guts to make such a list

I love all the support for Clarke in the comments, like thank you all she's hated on way too much unnecessarily. I think Kane can see Octavia heading down a darker path and he doesn't want that for her, it's tough tbh cos I see both sides. The one where he shouldn't be really judging her, cos this man killed so many people himself. And the other where because all of he's done, he doesn't want her to end up the same, hence him sending her home and her wanting her to be able to clear her head. The fall imo is one of them situations where irl you have people surviving things they absolutely shouldn't of, so I take that spin with Octavia surviving tbh, but despite that I do have to agree it's plot armour for O. But I am really glad they didn't kill her off right here. Bellamy's reaction to O's "death" is absolutely heartbreaking and I feel so bad for him every time I watch it :( Clarke being the leader and people shitting on her for actually making the decisions a leader has to make is always hard to watch for me. She is a teenage girl, she's lost her father, almost lost her mother, was the only one with any brains when they first got down along with Bellamy making them the leaders, it's not something she or him exactly asked for, she's been locked up, seen her father floated, been tortured, seen her mother hung, had to mercy kill a man she loved or he would be tortured to death, I could go on and on. Monty pissed me off this episode ngl.

Yeah that fall was pretty ridiculous to survive BUT it is OCTAVIA, she is hands down the best character in the whole show, you cant have The 100 without her, it just wouldnt be anywhere as good as it is now! And frankly, telling her that Pike didn't deserve to die, knowing he killed Lincoln like that are you effing kidding me? LOVED the murphy and raven moments so much. I love that she can see through him. AND MURPHY GRABBING HER AND SAVING HER MY HEARTTTTTT. So lets get this straight: Raven yells at Clarke to make a list that she didn’t want to do in the first place. But she makes it and now Monty is pissed at her because he's not on it... Nobody else wants to make the fckin hard decisions so Clarke does and then they get mad about it??? The one thing I think Monty was right about was that people deserve to know so they can come to a collective decision but the way he went about it was wrong. At least Jaha did something right by defending Clarke over the list. Even though his “list” probably isn’t as smart as Clarke’s it seems something people would agree on more, and they did. But if that was the way they were picking the list I wouldn't want to be on it. Why suffer for months in the ark trying to survive and ration if you were most likely gonna die off anyways. Especially when you dont have proper doctors??? That didn't make a lot of sense either. The music in the Bellamy scene was SO DISTRACTING. And agreed, Octavia surviving that fall is so dumb! I get that Jasper is going through things but damn, he's frustrating to watch. I had a hard time tolerating at him this point. (Sorry Jasper fans)

I feel for Clarke here because Raven was the one who instinsted on Clarke making the list in the first place, Clarke makes the list whilst thinking logically with the spots for soldiers, young woman who can give birth and then even though it is pretty harsh, looking into people medical records to see if there would be a drain on medical resources. people in this show look to Clarke to make those hard decisions for them but when that backfires they blame Clarke for it anyway and that's what sucks the most. I like Jaha's idea of the random lottery so everyone can included but at the same time I understand why Clarke would be hesitant about it since like she said there might be a chance they might not get any doctors or engineers. This is where my hatred for Echo grew tenfold like she has the audacity to fight Octavia, stab her in the stomach and then looked all sad as she watched her fall like she was the one who didn't just do it. Oh god, the Bellamy scene gets me every fucking time, he see's the sword drops and from that he just instantly knows somethings wrong and he doesn't want to believe it at first but then it sinks in which is why falls to his knee, gripping the bars as he starts crying and screaming like his last scream at the end fucking kills me because you can tell despite what they've been through Bellamy loves Octavia with his whole heart and soul so to him, being in a world where Octavia isn't is soul crushing to it. he would be absolutely dead inside if she was actually dead but for now he only thinks that which is heartbreaking. Though it's funny thinking abut how behind the scenes of that scene how Zach Mcgowan who plays Roan , Tasya Teles who Plays Echo were like making fun about Bob Morley being in the corner and poking fun about getting him to cry harder for the scene but I think Bob still did a amazing job because he certainly ripped my heart out.

i don’t know… i understand Roan’s view on this. like they agreed to work together, Roan risked a lot forming an alliance with Skaikru. I understand they weren’t sure whether the ark or the nightblood was going to save them, but they should’ve communicated what was happening. abby & co. had time to travel to the island, and she called kane to tell him what was happening, he should’ve immediately relayed that information imo.

Perhaps an unpopular opinion, but I don't think Kane was too harsh with Octavia. She's become way, way too trigger happy and she needs to re-focus, she's had her revenge. Just because someone is within the original 100 people, doesn't mean they deserve to be on the list... so I disagree with you, but I do agree Monty should have made the list. Although I wholeheartedly understand Clarke, it's such an ungrateful job. Also, this is where I was completely done with Jasper. He was never one of my faves, but here I was just done. God, I can't stand Echo.

He tried his best with the scene he was given to come up with that amount of emotion and from what I've heard he went all out so much that that he banged his head and made himself bleed from a cut on his forehead but they didn't choose to keep that in so that's the shows fault, not his plus pair that with Zach and Tasya making fun and joking with him about going into a corner and telling him to cry hard. All actors can do to is their best with the scene given and Bob did his best even when he thought he could have done more.

I see Monty’s view point and Clarke’s. But at the same time Clarke put like Bellamy on it and Octavia… they really aren’t super useful just fighters. There are probably better soldiers so it is biased and it isn’t up to her alone to do it, I think it needed to be better calculated by multiple people. If she didn’t put them on it I’d be fully on her side. It cracks me up - your face when O “died” and I completely agree lmao. It’s literally WAY too high, that looks like it’s like ten stories high, and she just casually will fall and perfectly into water without being mush, also avoiding the rocks since it’s a fast flowing river bed (also it doesn’t look deep at all) also with her wound…. Her surviving is impossible

But Bellamy and Clarke aren’t the only ones in Arcadia who knew the truth. They are just the ones that made the list. Raven, Abby, Jaha, Kane, etc. all knew. They could have decided to help Clarke make that list, but they didn’t. It’s not really true that she can’t decide who lives and dies because they literally made that her job then decided to get mad at her for doing her job, a job no one else wanted to help her with. I agree that putting Bellamy and Octavia on the list is biased, but that’s more a flaw of the fact that she was the only one making the list. When only one person makes it, of course it will be biased.
