hey chris! need your advice, i’ve been doing a cold emails for the last month and got some replays but i feel like my emails may have gone to spam in some cases. i am graphic designer so i was sending a text + an image (2mb) with some of my works presented in it ( as a portfolio). i heard recently that images may increase the chances of emails going to spam, so am i better or sending only a text as a first message asking if they wanna see examples of my works and then if they reply YES, i follow up with the pictures? just feel like them seeing my works in the first message may increase the chance of reply but it’s risky to send the image first

What do you do if you don't have results from past clients or any "credibility" for your statement? Offer free value like a free project?

Be upfront about your experience and why they should go with you vs a seasoned pro. Free project is one way to do it. Can talk about your years of experience too. "The thing is, I’m new to the [NICHE] scene, but I’ve been behind the camera for X years. To build up my client base, I’m taking on 3 clients for free over the next month. I want to start by learning what results you want to track, figure out your goals, and work backward from there to create a game plan."
