7:28 i don't mean disrespect but my strong suspicion is that all bmx riders at that point were just kids/teens having fun but then they just grew up and got real jobs and needed to have cycling still in their life in a form of commuting at least, but bmx is just not convenient for commuting so they now are getting into mountain biking to commute and still have that adrenaline rush when going down a trail thus bmx community getting smaller. at least thats what happened to me and i find a lot of ppl with similar situations too
