What about the new Panerai Luna Rossa Submersible... It's a Carbotech case, with a tourbillion, but the Panerai tourbillion is so awesome because its a axial one that spins while it spins... Panerai tourbs are the best to watch

Ok, what’s up with that GP for $5k? Because for me personally, a $5k digital watch (even in titanium w/ the gold buttons) is just a ridiculous ask, and tbh I actually like the look and think it’s a very sharp watch… But still, it’s a basic digital display watch unless I’m seriously missing something here. So if someone can explain to me where exactly the value is in this watch that I’m not seeing, seriously please tell me.

It was a piece unique that sold at Phillips Hong Kong Auction on November 22nd for $2.1 million HKD, which is about $270k US. This is almost certainly a watch that will increase in value at some point in the future assuming the Murakami connection and his continued prominence in the art world.
