The zeroth dimension isn’t actually nothing, in fact, zero is infinity’s twin. Nothing and everything. The infinitieth dimension would be an ever-existing mass, not comprehendible by anything ever existing. So, like infinity, the zeroth dimension would likely be incomprehensible. Anything in this dimension is nothing. Not mass, not living, not existing. Yet, anything in the ‘nothing’ dimension could go anywhere, anytime, and be anything. But it can’t, likely because nothing is in the nothing dimension. The zeroth dimension is basically just a concept of the existence of nothing within nothing with the ability to do anything, but it’s nothing so it can’t. Like the infinitieth dimension can, but it’s infinitely far away so you will never arrive in the infinitieth dimension. Edit: It’s been 2 years since I made this comment and I still think about it occasionally. Looking back, my logic was flawed and I presented it in a this-is-fact way. It was definitely fun to think about, but still very, very theoretical, and flawed in many ways. Despite the fact that I was almost definitely wrong, it was still fun. I still cringe at things I did when I was 13, but I’m glad I looked into things like dimensions. Maybe some day I’ll know the real answer to what is the zeroth dimension is like, but if that day comes, it’s probably a long, long ways away.

I imagine 4D is like a bunch of very thin 3d canvas of life (everything we see/experience) stacked next to each other (so you'd imagine it from a different, outer point of view). This creates a tunnel - like stream that maybe due to gravity only moves in one direction, and we call it 'time'. For e.g in the vid the first tesseract image - but stacked endlessly in a line that represents a timeline. And you see it from that outsider perspective too.

Appreciate the idea, but memories for example wouldn't be the being itself showing, it rather is a snippet of the visual field of a 4 dimensional being. Imagine all your memories stacked together, that's what a 4 dimensional being is able to perceive. The being itself I'd imagine to have a body that stretches infinitely in every of the 3 directions that we know of. Probably warps around itself in their own dimension which we aren't able to perceive in our 3D world.

The crazy thing about our existence is everything we learn has been theorized by us, has been discovered by us, defined by us, accepted by us, given purpose by us, passed on to teach the next generation by us. I say that to say this. The reason you can't "take a microscope and observe them" is because they're just too small. They're incomprehensibly small in the same way that the entire universe is incomprehensibly large. To simplify the matter, you could say that things exist on a scale much, much "smaller" than photons, the individual units of what makes up light, and that poses the main problem for actually seeing them. Light makes things visible (including through microscopes) because photons bounce off of objects and then enter our eyes (or sensors that work similarly to how our eyes collect light for our brains to interpret,) but photons are limited in this application because of their "size," because they can only illuminate objects in a way that makes them discernible if the object is much larger than the photons that we try to bounce off of the object. If the object is smaller than a photon, we can never see it using photons. This is an over-simplification, but it explains the effect well. This is also why we have electron microscopes, for seeing the details of things that are too small for photons to "get into" the details of- things that photons are just too large to illuminate, especially in detail. For the intents and purposes of this explanation, you could say that electrons are smaller than photons so they can do the job of bouncing off of things to make them visible to microscopes when photons are too large to do it. These things are on a scale so small that there are no known particles small enough for us to bounce off of these things to make them visible. The Planck ("plawnk") scale is truly 'incomprehensibly' small. One 'Planck length' is the smallest meaningful measure of distance or size that exists (approximately 1.6x10^-35 meters or 0.000000000000000000000000000000000016 meters.) One 'Planck time' is the amount of time it takes a photon traveling at the speed of light in a vacuum to travel one Planck length (approximately 10^-43 seconds, or 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 second.) For reference, one Planck length is 10-20 times smaller than the entire "size" of an electron, so even electron microscopes can't even come close to observing things on this scale. We just can't see them, we can only study them based on what we know and observe about their effects on other things. But who knows what kinds of discoveries tomorrow will hold?

Other dimensions exist in higher and higher vibrational frequencies as you move up the dimensions. Think of it like a radio. Every station frequency is present around us and the radio all at the same time. We tune the radio to pick up one frequency (station) at a time but the other stations are still present. They didn't disappear when we changed the dial. We, humans in a 3D body, are tuned to the 3rd dimension. We are only tuned to the 3D frequency (our physical reality) but the other dimensions, and all their possibilities, are all around us at the same time.

I would say even with the shadow example, its you who are experiencing the time but you cant really speak for your shadow. The shadow itself doesn't experience time, it just moves as your 3D self moves. Only way I can think of the shadow literally moving itself is through sun direction changes where your shadow changes angle but it is still bounded to you. It never walks away from you (that would be scary if it did lol). But that too is not certain because the question becomes, is the shadow moving itself or the sun is moving the shadow. And I think its safe to say the sun is moving the shadow.

So yeah you cant say for 100% certainty with that or anything really in life, this is why we can only focus on what's more likely vs unlikely. And it seems to be more argument/points supporting that its likely to not exist. I could be wrong and if we have to determine which is more likely, I have yet to hear a good example about time existing in those dimensions. If you look from a human's perception/observation, papers and shadows are moving in time but those things itself do not consider time. The paper doesn't determine "oh its this time of day, I should move to this position now", its either something moving it (wind, person etc). Same for the shadow, the sun's angle is moving the shadows. Otherwise your shadows would contradict the suns angle/position if they are deciding themselves. If you have a good example then I would like to genuinely know.
