The person trying to flog that ingot is an absolute chancer… At current prices, 1oz of 9ct gold is worth about £560. Now, themed ingots do trade for a premium over the gold price and being number 1 of 500 does make it unique, but even so, asking for anything more than £1000 is taking the proverbial!

£1,300 for the first 100 or so Big Finish CD's. When you take into consideration the fact that most of those stories are legally available to listen to on-line FOR FREE,you're basically spending a lot of money for shiny discs and leaflets.

Nice video. I recognise the Dalek at number 3. It’s from Doctor John Smith’s Cottage. A holiday cottage near Dungeness (where Claws of Axos was filmed) in Kent. The house is (was?) full of Doctor Who props and memorabilia that were owned by a fan who had died. His family opened the house and Doctor Who stuff after his death. I was lucky enough to be taken as a birthday treat by my wonderful wife. There a full size TARDIS in the garden.

I would absolutely love a full size Genesis Dalek but there are three main obstacles stopping that from happening: money, my wife and room in the house. On the subject of high asking prices, I saw a crazy listing on Etsy the other day for 30 vintage Disney VHS tapes. The asking price? Over 51,000 Aussie dollars. Delusional doesn’t even cover it.

This was a fantastic video, the steel books have varied sell on values with series 9 being the most expensive (approx £350) - not sure why other than it was limited on Amazon. Series 1 next most expensive (£260 approx) then series 2 (£240 ish). So I don’t have these…. Needles to say I have all the rest 😂.

Hi Jason. Hope your doing well? I have a signed photo autograph of the Ninth Dr" Christopher Eccleston does this have any value? My friend was the Makeup artist on the show and worked with Niel Gorton. Just curious if autographs from the actors are valued? It was supposed to be part of a lot for a Radio Charity Auction. Also while spending time on Holby City got all the cast signatures, even the cast of "Silent Witness" helped out.

It’s less of an eBay thing and more of a BBC lawyers one. They have a profit making arm for making and selling licensed replicas. They don’t play nice when people cut their lunch. Most dalek building community members are aware and play nice. Some just don’t care and pay a hefty price. Some people can make 99% themselves but might need to buy a dome etc. the beeb tends to look the other way on that front.
