This is very interesting but rubies are anisotropic. This professor says otherwise. Also diamonds are selected as one of the 12 stones at the priest garment in Old Testament. Still very interesting though.

The 12 Apostles' names will be written on the 12 foundations of the New Wall of Jerusalem... will Judas Iscariot still be written, or his replacement name MATTHIAS thru the "casting lot" by the 11 Apostles?... How about St. Paul who was chosen and called by Christ Jesus, as the "Apostle to the Gentiles"?... who do you think, Matthias or Paul is the true replacement for Judas Iscariot?

The Apostles chose Matthias, but God chose Paul. The Lord met him on the road to Damascus and his ministry was vindicated by meeting the pillar of fire. There is very little written about Matthias. The Apostles should have waited patiently on the Lord's choice through prayer and the moving of the Holy Spirit, but instead they chose to cast lots.

@@BelieversTestimonies Thanks for your response although you did not say your own opinion of who you think will be the true replacement of Judas Iscariot and that their names will be written in the 12 Wall Foundations of the New Jerusalem... Matthias' name was once mentioned during the casting of lots only, but after that, no mention of his whereabouts, where was his own ministry, his writing/epistles, and how he died... totally nothing... just a mere FILLER... So, for me, unanimously, St. Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles and the only Apostle who was taken into the 3rd Heaven by God through a Vision. who wrote many doctrinal and Instructional Epistles/letters, who REBUKED St. Peter regarding the Doctrine of CIRCUMCISION to the Gentiles, and was given the understanding of the MYSTERY of God, deserved his name to be written on the 12 Wall Foundations of the New Jerusalem... that is my humble opinion...

I would say Paul... Reason being the way he is even more spoken of than the disciples... Jesus met the disciples doing what was worldly but paul was a true pharisee fully dedicated to following the old testament,he was a true believer in judaisim b4 christ came

The Lord also chose Mathias as the apostle asked God to choose between him and another candidate and God chose Matthias. He never said, "Hold on, I have a different person for Judas'replacement; just wait on Me, I'll reveal him in future." It's always best to stick with what God's Word actually says, rather than our own musings and surmises.

In my humble opinion, St. PAUL the Apostle to the Gentiles deserved his name to be written in the 12 Foundation Wall of the New Jerusalem and not MATTHIAS who is just a mere filler, who was chosen by the 11 Apostles through "Casting Lots" and not directly chosen by Christ Jesus himself... St. PAUL was directly chosen and taught by Christ Jesus just like the Original 12 Apostles... Matthias' name was once mentioned only during the casting of lots, then after that, his whereabouts, his work ministry, and how he died... totally nothing (silence)... St. Paul was the only Apostle who was taken up to the 3rd Heaven by God through a Vision, who wrote many Epistles of Instructional Doctrines, who REBUKED St. Peter regarding the Doctrine of Circumcision to the Gentiles, who also was given the understanding of the MYSTERY of Heaven and his Martyrdom (beheaded) in Rome was even recorded/written... St. Peter's martyrdom was not even recorded as crucified upside down, nothing was mentioned... that is my opinion why I believe St. Paul was the TRUE REPLACEMENT of Judas Iscariot ...

It will be Matthias. The replacement apostle had to have been with Jesus throughout his entire ministry and to have witnessed his death, resurrection and ascension. All this is scriptural. He will be inscribed on the foundation stone.

You are correct. Matthias was the result of Peter attempting to fulfill prophecy. No prophecy was ever fulfilled because man took it upon himself to fulfill prophecy. Yeshua/Jesus selected Sha'ul/Saul/Paul to be the replacement for Yehuda/Judas.
