@1741as: No, it's not. Solo has the exact same scale sequence in every octave, same as a Chromatic Harmonica. Paddy Richter is the same as a 10 hole diatonic but with the 3 blow reed raised a tone. Both are great for Irish music.

Amazing. Brendan, would you have any chromatic you'd recommend for jazz? Maybe something good for bending, etc?

It's my understanding you can't really bend on a chromatic. Valves prevent that. The Hohner super Chromonica is a great harp in my opinion....though I haven't had the scratch to invest in anything more expensive.
