@1741as: No, it's not. Solo has the exact same scale sequence in every octave, same as a Chromatic Harmonica. Paddy Richter is the same as a 10 hole diatonic but with the 3 blow reed raised a tone. Both are great for Irish music.

It's my understanding you can't really bend on a chromatic. Valves prevent that. The Hohner super Chromonica is a great harp in my opinion....though I haven't had the scratch to invest in anything more expensive.
