It's so funny to think of New York women wearing athleisure or Uggs out on the street. I grew up visiting NYC regularly in the '70s and '80s with my mother. Back then, NYC women were still SO elegantly stylish. Instead of Uggs there'd be elegant boots; instead of puffer jackets, tailored wool coats (like the ones you wear.) I think your style would've fit perfectly in 1950s NYC, Taylor! 1970s and '80s too. Like Cybill Shepherd in Taxi Driver--she had such a classic 1970s stylish New York professional woman look in that film.

The pronunciation is Mo Toe Jacket. Not motto 😃 I feel like this video only speaks to certain parts of nyc. In Midtown, Hell's Kitchen, upper west side, I see a lot more variety and individuality in men's and women's dress rather than a girl's code.

That is such an LA outfit. The other day I was at dinner and thought how sad it is that people wear this to dinner instead of dressing up. But that’s just me!!!

Where I live the workout look is in. Lots of people here live an active lifestyle so they go to gym or go running or walking. It’s by far what is the most popular and I where my workout clothes everyday because I workout everyday. Also since it’s a beach town girls are wearing bikinis especially the full bum look. Super casual is the way to go here. Little jean shorts or long straight leg jeans, oversized long sleeve button ups over crops. Beachwear, boho, casual and relaxed wear.

Your right most girls in california do not run around in slip dresses for their own safety.We all have trench coats and plenty of jewelry.The long white shirt is a must here and we all have a variety of workout clothes.Moto jackets and large bags we also love in Calif along with lots of jeans and jean shorts!I am not poor....lol...........but I would never ever spend more then $50 on a purse!

Just use the subway only.? Not cool to ever take buses? I ride buses all the time. Buses go everywhere but perhaps not cool if you are a "pretty looking women" to actually ride a bus. The girls shown in this video are all obviously models. Not an average or short girl amongst the bunch. Why not find (non-models) to show the fashions? Would like to see some average type girls showing fashions.
