I just got the winmau extreme stand just before Christmas as it was on sale at Argos, as I’m in the same boat and can’t put it on a wall! It’s very sturdy with the 4 leg base and has a bar you can attach and extend to push off a wall so you get even less wobble when the darts hit. Hasn’t fallen down yet for me but granted only had it a week, I’d recommend thus far 👍

Started watching darts last year at the world championship and now have a dart board of my own. Got the right height but my room isn’t large enough to make the full size of the oche but it’s close! Nearly got a 180 earlier

Been playing 121 a bunch since it came out on dart counter, really, really like it, nothing like the feeling of getting lucky and hitting those high numbers in 3 darts. One thing I would recommend though is try to follow the suggested check out that dart counter gives you. I noticed on the 122 you shot for 20s, if you miss on the first and hit a single 20 you have no check out, but if you go the suggested treble 18 route you miss on the first you have 104 and can still check out in 2 darts, just something to consider.

Some great darts in there Samson. I think you need to get yourself into a pub team ASAP! You will improve playing against other people and better players. Love the game 121, I've played it loads of times, but not for a while now, might have to get back to it. With 122 try starting on the 18's, 4 18's leaves bull, 6 18's leaves D14. Keep up the good work 👍🏼🎯

Got the Condor Axe 120s for Christmas, feels super strange throwing a three edged flight. But the darts are flying well with them.

I have the winmau stand and its also wobbling. But i was thinking to put on it the scolia system. Then possibly the outer ring has more weight and it will not wobble anymore so hard.

50% on that is decent there! Not tried playing 121 but I've heard it mentioned a lot so will have to give it a go - it's clearly working for you, I was progressing with dartbot about the same as you until recently but I've hit a brick wall at level 6. Think it's partially because I keep tinkering with different darts and flight systems, so my new year's resolution is to stop chopping and changing equipment. Got a nice shiny new Shot Bandit board for Christmas as my Eclipse Ultra was looking a bit battered!

I've got the mission rota pro stand that I've only been using for a few weeks but it's a brilliant stand in my opinion. I don't notice any wobble and it is very sturdy. Really easy to set up and rotate the board and 30 quid cheaper than the Winmau. I hope that helps.

I play 301 a lot to practice ..but you can only score on bulls and 25 until you get to a two dart finish So that can be 101 anything lower The object is ..to give you more confidence to use bull and 25 when you need it also your doubles It’s just a bit of fun to play But like your 121 ..I will try it 👍

You need to think about your first dart on that 121 check out game. For example on 121 you can go for 20 first because if you hit single 20 you still have a 2 dart finish but on 122 if you hit single 20 first you won’t have a 2 dart finish left so on 122 you need to go for 18 first so if you hit a single 18 you have 104 left which is still a 2 dart finish. 123 you need to go for 19 first because again if you hit the single 19 you will still have a a go at a 2 dart finish.

Consider the Winmau Vertex stand which leans against a wall (if that's possible?) that will remove the wobble, but doesn't require permanent fixing

normally I watch as i'm playing also. I don't necessarily play along with you but I normally have you on while practicing. for what it's worth, having your board on a stand hasn't subtracted from your videos one bit as far as i'm concerned.

Regarding the maths: for me who is worse than you at throwing but good at all the maths I would just advice to watch pro darts as much as you can and pay attention on what they are throwing on 303 for example to not leave a bogey number. And then ofc all the checkouts. Somehow for me its the part that I really enjoy in the game the most and know all of them from the back of my head.

Why aren't you able to put the dartboard on the wall? If it's to do with the noise and neighbors then there are options like the Karella or the Winmau Wispa which reduces the sound significantly. I bought a Karella because the neighbor below me kept complaining about the noise and since using it she can't hear a thing. Defo worth it and much better than a stand.
