This is wonderful! After all these years, a 13 year old comes up with something that society/the government should have made common place years ago! It's sad how much of contemporary life doesn't consider the disabled; I'm glad Alexander is conscientious enough to do something about it. Hopefully he can help encourage people with authority to do more about it.

We already have something like that in Germany (it's called Wheelmap). I'm a wheelchair user and I find it very helpful. :)

I understand where you’re coming from, but creating and managing an app- especially at age thirteen- is a monumental task. It’s not about ‘luck’- it’s about a phenomenal IQ. And what do you mean by ‘better ideas’? Do you think helping disabled people isn’t worth the trouble?

1. I highly doubt he developed the entire thing himself. 2. I don't see this as being profitable or successful in the long-term. 3. He seems to think he's more than he actually is.

Agreed. I fail to see how this can generate revenue. Disabled people who will use the app are only a fraction of the population. But he's a 13 year old kid so....
@AccuphaseMan

Furthermore, I would go so far as to say that on average, people using the app aren't very wealthy, so he wouldn't be able to increase prices to cater to a smaller market.

Bravo Alley because Asia has outdated social and traditional pressures
@bravoalley228

no society is perfect. There is less respect for education in the West which is a problem as people in the East will progress in related industries that involve STEM. Asia tends to be patriarchal societies that can leave an undue higher amount of inequality to women. It's not only Asia that can have some outdated social and traditional pressures. The concept of tipping in the US is anachronistic and to many non-US people, it is considered messed up.
People with disabilities don’t exist to inspire you.
