Some great choices and I’m glad you mention samples because I’ve started to buy lots rather than blind buy as I was giving away so many fragrances I didn’t like! I have to say I love Creed Aventus for a hot summers day as the pineapple really pops out the hotter the temp! I shall try Nishane Hacivat on your recommendation. Also pleased to see you include a Xerjoff which is fast becoming my go to favourite as the range is really beautiful and lots to choose from! The best from Xerjoff for me is Naxos which is such a stunner and absolutely perfect for summer! Great video Omar 👍

Mancera Sicily. Incredibly fresh and rindy opening to mid, drying down to musks that are definitely unisex. If you want a holiday vibe, then go for Mancera Holidays, which is ultra-beast mode and you have to wash it off eventually (it stays on clothes forever).

My this year’s summer staples now are Tom Ford for Men and Acqua di Gio Profumo. The second is really well known and very well done modern formulation. The first one is an example of complex modernised classic eloquent perfumery. Some people says this perfume is weak and generic comparing to other TF fragrances. I don’t think like that at all. With some additional sprays it becomes a beautiful intimate closer to the skin scent which lasts 8-10 hours actually. My recommendation to you, try it if you can. Also I would recommend this to people who really like more classic chypre-fougere direction in perfumery. Overall a really beautiful amber based fragrances with prominent oakmoss musks and dry sweet tobacco aspects with very zesty lemony-ginger opening. Your stuff on KZbin is always fantastic, Omar. Cheers 🥂

I was mind boggled when I found out that some of the most poor places in africa have air conditioning but in the UK they don't have AC
@btkzooi2 жыл бұрын
I'm mind boggled to see how that's mind boggling. AC is quite welcome for when it's very hot but it's not very cost effective for when it's not hot very often. For example in the US, where air conditioning is very widespread, 91% of the households has AC. In a northern city like Seattle this is 41%. The latitude of the UK is farther north than that of Seattle. In fact, all of the UK lies north to that of the contiguous USA. That combined with the fact that in the design of houses the possibility of AC is almost never kept in mind (a design of keeping houses warm instead of cool). A somewhat similar trend for the whole of Europe; in the hottest parts of Spain only about 60% of the houses have AC (nationwide about 35%). With that said, since very warm days in the summer slowly start to become more common because of climate change there might be a slow shift where AC in houses in the UK and other countries will also be more common. Houses in particular since it's already quite common in offices and other indoor public locations. And it can be quite warm for quite a big part of the year in Africa. Still, AC is not very common, mostly because of cost reasons. The biggest exception to that has to be Egypt. Partly, or probably mostly, because of the high urbanization in the country. The result is that a lot of the daily energy cost there is spend on AC. What all of this has to do with fragrances? I don't have a clue.
@GrowingDownUnder2 жыл бұрын
@@btkzooi because the housing standard in just about every country says for a house to be a house and safe to live in must require heating, cooling, electricity, shelter, water, shower/toilet, etc...these are the basic essential things that houses are required to have by legal standards. I'm assuming all the houses in the UK must be really old and maybe the new houses have them? I guess these things don't apply to old buildings that existed before the standards changed. But still if you rent a home those things are still a requirement provided by landlords they must have the essential human needs. Even in prison all those needs have to be met, so you're saying prisoners have it better that's mind boggling

Jeremy is going out of business? I mean actually it's not a surprise, the pricing in general, and also the pricing of the different sizes annoys me, I mean 250€ for 100 ml and 199€ for 50 ml, wtf? Also the rather high niche pricing wasn't the best strat, I know he wants to be exclusiv and all, but he had better stayed at normal prices. The Office shouldn't be much more expensive than Sauvage EdT, Date for Man would be right with Mancera etc. at 120€ per 100 ml. At that price point he probably would have made more revenue and profit.
