Hi there, welcome to the Travel Made Me Do It channel. It's actually possible to do all of the hikes without a guide (if you had your own vehicle). If you don't have your own vehicle, we recommend doing a guided tour for the following hikes due to inaccessibility with public transport: Laguna 513, Laguna Hualcacocha and Laguna Queshquecocha. Otherwise, all of the other hikes, you could do without a guided tour, using public transport, or, in some instances, organising private transport (but without a guide).

I stumbled upon your title and that grabbed me - travel made me do it has pretty much described my life. Many years ago, I have done a number of these hikes. It was great to see. Very nice footage. Cordillera Blanca is an absolutely stunning place. I went there during a time when there was a lot of political turmoil and I had a number of serious problems but it never diminished my appreciation for it. Thank you for this. Have an amazing day.
