Steve I need some help with my systems. My sub is popping when turning off and I don't wanna damage my sundown. Any chance of some help please

Sub Pop: If the head unit is turning off before the amp, it might send a pop. Its usually the head unit, good amps usually have anti-thump/anti-pop. Disconnect the RCA's and check for the pop. If no pop, it's the head unit. Otherwise, plug the RCAs back in, then remove the remote wire while the system is on. If theres still a pop, its likely the amp. My 2 cents.

Just watched one of your videos from 9 years ago, on a cooling amp rack before this one. The one from 9 years ago is how I build stuff. Drills, hole saws, router, brads, and screws with stickers. Cool to see how much it changed in just a couple years to full blown cnc's and laser engravers! I've recently been using my 3d printer to create stuff and transfer it to wood with my router. This gives me some inspiration that maybe one day I will have a cnc and laser in my arsenal!

Fine grain sandpaper will remove the burn mark in the acrylic fully and a high speed buffer with a little polishing compound with make it look like nee again. Acrylic tank manufacturers do it all the time when they have a scratch or defect during assembly.

This is badass. I own a CNC machine shop out in Oklahoma but we do metal work with mills and lathes. I know how much time and skill it takes to make things like this. I do mainly oilfield and aerospace work but would love to eventually do something for car audio.

@@meade916 Curious on the DD-1+ is there any major advantages to it over the standard DD-1? I've had a standard now for a few years and it's served me well. Didn't know if there was anything on the DD-1 + that would make it worth selling my current DD-1 to pick one up. I do like the ability to adjust your overlap to different levels easier with the + vs. making whole new tones, putting them on a flash and doing that way.
