These 15 St. Bridget Prayers draw me closer to Jesus. For personal relationship with Jesus, we need to look at the lives of the Saints as role models.

I prayed this prayer as a new Catholic. Previously, as a Protestant, I had seen fiery crosses in the sky above the graves at the cemetery that my husband lay. When my husband was alive, we walked through the cemetery (as many others did too), and we could see our house. From our house we could see the cemetery. So after my husband's death, I could see the fiery crosses (and the site of my husband's grave) from our lounge. Later, when I began to pray these 15 prayers from the prayer book, I read that one of the graces promised for those reading these prayers was visions. As God resides in eternity, it seemed to me that the graces had been applied b4 I had even begun to pray these prayers... proving to me that time is not linear, and that these prayers are powerful.

The 15 Prayers of St. Bridget has been one of my devotional prayers for the past many years of my life. It is a very powerful prayer. Honestly,I don’t know why I can’t stop saying this prayer everyday ever since I started it many years ago. Try it! “Jesus crucified, have mercy on us!” “Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us!”🙏

Keep praying for him.. there’s also the 12 yr. prayer of St. Bridget- you can choose 3 ppl to make Holy.. but must pray daily.. or asap if you miss a day… pls do not receive Commission in your hand, if you do. Only from a Priest, in your mouth. Only Priests should touch the Eucharist..

I don’t know if your dad is still with us, but if not, we can still pray, because God has no time constraints. If we pray for him today, God knew that we would pray today for him - a year ago - and He will use that prayer to give His grace and mercy to your father so that in his hour of death your father can realize there is a loving God and he can ask for and accept the forgiveness and mercy that God extends to him. I’m praying for my grandfather who died 73 years ago, that he accepted God’s mercy before he died. We have faith and hope that it’s never too late to pray for someone. Those who have died, the holy.souls, need our prayers because they can no longer pray for themselves, but they can pray for us. Holy souls in purgatory, please pray for us.

My dad wasn't a Christian, but he died and went to heaven. Something happened b4 he died. Our prayers are not wasted. I know he went to heaven, because of the sanctity of holiness present at his death; and because he came from heaven, after his death, and kissed my forehead. He was happy and grateful.

Voice is easy to listen to and telling us all a glimpse of how Jesus suffered so much for us. Easy for we older folks that appreciate the size of print used . Presentation is above others. Hard , however, to visualize, all Jesus went thru for our salvation and to suffer as he did for us. It allows us to meditate on our own sins that he suffered for them. Thank you for posting this. It helps me to keep pace more quickly than if I were to read the prayers by myself. It might be helpful to mention that the prayers were approved by the Catholic Church? The 21 Promises that accompany these prayers are also amazing and certainly well-worth mentioning! Although the supernatural origin of these promises has not been verified by the Church, we can still pray them with piety, reverence, and hopeful expectation! I think nuns dress the way they do because they want to dress like Mary, the mother of Christ. I bet they want to have a baby though, but can't. I guess that's why so many work in orphanages and schools. There's a great need for that.
