Within a couple months of prayer my dad returned to the sacrament of confession/reconciliation for the first time in 27 years and likely his first ever valid confession in his life. Just wanted to share an experience i had with regards to these prayers.. Remember that promise where it says, 'wherever these prayers are recited or will be recited, God and his grace is/will be present there'? Well, in our hometown in Tacloban (where super storm Haiyan passed through), in our village a third of the houses were swept away by the storm surge (think tsunami-like waters in that it's caused by storm not a quake), but God in his Mercy preserved our family members' houses, both my mom's and cousin's. In these places, we prayed together these prayers... And you know what, God is really good because my mom, in all her years of working abroad (ofw) and sacrificing for her family, was left with only this house. It was all she had materially. While the storm was raging, i kept praying, "Mom's house oh Jesus! Where will we go after this?" And the thing was, aside from the mud and debris, only the ceiling got damaged (structurally speaking). God IS love and mercy himself. Oh, and my cousin? They too survived and their house was preserved.

15 years ago, during one of the lowest points of my life (because of sin), I was directed to St. Bridget and her prayers. I did my best to carry out those prayers. Now I'm 41, many of my major prayers have been answered, I'm not committing any of the sins I was 15 years ago, and coincidentally my youngest daughter is named Bridget (we have 4). Funny thing is, when we were deciding on my daughter's name, I did not even remember saying St. Bridget's prayers 15 years ago. A true act of God!

I say this prayer every night before retiring to bed. It has become part of my life with the Passion. A note: I have eliminated the Thees, Thous, etc. It brings the prayers closer to my everyday vocabulary and is more meaningful for me.

St. Bridget please intercede for my daughter Saviana for the voices she hears. Intercede for her deliverance of the voices and the alcohol, sex, sloth, wrath, gluttony addictions. I trust that our good Lord will restore her life from all the traumas she has endured. That she will be a testimony of our almighty Lord. Jesus, I trust in you.

Please, if anyone is reading this, my dad has been a heavy drinker for about 20 years now, and his health is really bad right now, and he refuses to go to the doctor and get treatment! If you could, please pray for him to let go of his demons! I wish he could be able to see God over his alcohol. It breaks my heart to see how his health unfolds since I watched his alcoholic journey ever since I was born. I’m begging you to pray for him if you don’t mind, any prayers are greatly appreciated thank you!!! 🙏

I gotta make it through my first year commitment. I too started in the First of the year. A friend of mine, handed me a tan booklet of Saint Bridget prayers. He said to do this everyday for one year. I made a goal to start on January 1st. My friends wife was praying the 12 yr devotion. I sighed, well, I will start with a one year commitment . Good for you to jump in with both feet.🙏😘❤️ I use this version for my devotion because I have low vision. So the script along with reading for us, is very helpful. Thank you for this Vlog.
