Thank for the criticism of The Children of Men, I remember I took a film course, and two final movies we had to analyze (this was over 10 years ago) were Children of Men and Black Swan, and everybody were saying how revolutionary the long takes were and so on. But you are able to put in words the feeling I had when watching it, or what you said about Minority Report or Solaris, I agree with which is why I never went back to rewatch Minority Report again. Remember that terrible remake of Solaris with Clooney, LOL, probably not, and that's a good thing. I do enjoy sci-fi/action stuff even from Van Damme era more probably because it takes me back to my youth.

Oh, wow, I forgot about the Clooney/Soderbergh Solaris remake. Yikes! Thank you. I believe that Children of Men and Minority Report have a lot of problems. I'm happy that you agree. People can get pretty passionate about Children of Men, and I don't get that at all. I couldn't imagine calling anything about it "revolutionary" lol. Van Damme sci-fi action movies are great! Timecop!! Universal Soldier! Solaris 1972 is still (probably) golden.

Top 150 & The Faculty isn't here? This list is bunk. Irrelevant.
