*****​ A 'gun' in British slang is a needle or syringe. Also, the smell of 'chocolate' is another slang term for the smell of hard drugs. From what I've read, the song is about his deceased sister who died of an OD so he wrote a song about her. He also intentionally wrote the song to be less critical of his sister because he didn't want people to think she was a bad person. Thus, the song's melody is kinda chipper but the lyrics are more serious.

The chocolate is heroin/ other drugs. The song may be aesthetically upbeat but the lyrics are euphemisms for darker things, namely addiction. So it's a neat juxtaposition of light and heavy. Idk, I'm not saying the song is a philosophical masterclass or anything, but It's most definitely not just a superficial song trying to obtusely glorify street violence or swag. At least not unironically.

I've never understood why some people have trouble understanding the accents thru various English speakers. i never have, but friends of mine have .However there is one accent that to my ears is like nails on a chalkboard: it's a British type i don't know what part but my ears do. I've only heard it from one person so i think it's regional specific.
