I bought one in 1980 for 6500.00 had every bell and whistle. it was faster then a vette, corner better and had a trunk. with the top down it was the best. wife got pregnant and I sold it. miss it everyday.

A right hand drive TR8 is a very rare beast. A right hand drive convertible is the holy grail. Is this really a genuine factory TR8? I find it difficult to believe as surely a genuine right hand drive TR8 conveetible would have sold for 20k plus.

It still looks good! But, having almost bought a 2 litre one many moons ago... Faults! I'm tall, the steering wheel was in my legs, the steering was vague, the handling was something I wasn't prepared to check because the ride was 'boaty', and this one was well looked after. But, it looks SO good...

As the owner of a very late production Canadian spec TR-8; I'm amazed at how cheap theses cars are....little collector interest...

For that price... That must have been a TR7 conversion. There are or were companies that did a proper job making it indeed a TR8 but even still thats a good price. There was something like only 22 right handers made.
