Well, you don't see every stage in this video and your comments do not constitute proof, but what I do see is Laurent putting a clinic on Francesco in the mountains. On the other hand, Francesco took great risks using his TT bike (as he mentions, it was all experimental gear). Was Greg lemond the better racer Fignon no! but he won anyway. Was Indurain better than Chiapucci or Virenque in the mountains no! but he won anyway. They hung on in the mountains and won the timetrials. In the end, did Laurent deserve the win, ABSOLUTELY! he was a great racer and a great man and he did it all with class.He is and always will be missed.

Moser was the strongest chrono man. It had just obtained the hour world record...reconstruction of facts in the video are wrong. Fignon could not win the last stage!

Torriani has always been criticized. Before and later that Giro. Visentini the worst enemy. That giro was with almost no mountains but chronos were short, as well. Fignon was good but nothing in comparison with the shape he had two months later....moser deserved that giro. No way!

@@Ivan-nu2um moser dopo 2 secondi posti, un terzo ed un quarto Stra meritava il giro! Dopo la vittoria, un altro secondo ed un terzo....nel 1984 ha vinto il giro con le Crono e con la tappa del blockhaus e soffrendo si è difeso a selva ed arabba.
