As a former Royal navy submariner serving on Vanguard class SSBN's I have never doubted my safety throughout a 3 month patrol. However, I wouldn't trust this below 200ft, let alone over 2000ft! The most important thing when designing a submarine pressure hull is to have as few apertures (potentials for water ingress as possible) to cut huge windows into a pressure hull is insane! Given the cost of building and maintaining tried and tested military submarines. This is a joke! Still there will always be some with more money than sense. You only have to take the example of the Titan submersible to the titanic to see that! God help the billionaire who buys one.

The 1 thing I care about: WHAT IS THAT AT 0:13? I'd take that over any airplane, mansion, jet, island- AMYTHING. @GG-hu9dn Yes. I looked around online & the company is good at press releases & renderings of what they plan to build. But even megayachts 1/4 of that price are commissioned by buyers. Try to find this sub/yacht in existence. It's not out there. There's a whole community of ppl (not me) who track mega yachts & acquire photographs when they come to port. Imagine a billionaire risking many lives in this thing with all glass & places where water could get in with high pressure. None of the interior rendering made sense. If someone can find it out there I'd change my mind but I believe it doesn't exist.

Very imaginative, but two problems as I see it. The first is getting it built. The proprietary technology for building subs is closely guarded and finding the engineering capable of doing the job would be challenging. The second relates to safety, if you get into trouble, how are you going to be rescued? Yes, I've thought of this before. However, having your own habitat would be feasible, just repurpose and recondition a used oil platform and tow it to where you want it located (with the appropriate permission - ahem).

If I had that amount of money I would invest in a private Island and build hydroponic gardens to grow my own food, include a means of generating power through the use of wind and wave energy conversion and a water desalination facility. Then I would live there isolated and conduct remote meetings to handle the wealth management with the goal of providing enough wealth for at least 3 generations to survive off of. Then I would start training the heir of the fortune how to manage the growth in a way that minimizes attention from those who want power and control.
