For your question, that setting is only a part of combo rando, change age with oot isn't a part of just oot-rando. (at least not yet, I don't know if they're planning on adding it at all)

I had a similar even longer search for the light arrows recently doing my first oot randomizer and it took me 30 hours which is well over twice what it would nor ally take me lol damn near 100%'d the game before hunting down the song of storms grottos i had no idea existed somehow and it was in one right in the beginning town right by Link's house -_- was a lot of fun but made my brain hurt so much and made me do things i never did in the game before like the fence jumping game with epona. Had it set to be supposed to be glitchless with logic but some of the other aettigs i turned on mustve screwed stuff up cause it definitely wasn't beatable glitchless lol one of the things you have to shoot in gannons castle eith the light arrows simply didn't exist and from what i can tell from the logs neither did the gold gauntlets lol once i gave up on trying to do it glitchless it got better but it was a rough first seed lol

You don't want to go past 3:30 on a GDQ run or the entire vibe turns sour. The more tricks, the better, and you best either explain it or have someone else explain what is going on. Is there a setting that shuffles boss keys among dungeons? That way you still have to do some dungeons to find boss keys but you may be able to go mode others

Yeah you can, options are vanilla, own dungeon, any dungeon, overworld only, regional, and anywhere. Regional is my favorite because they get put anywhere near the dungeon so like fire boss key can be anywhere in the kak area including dodongos.

Adult and child have separate fw warps unfortunately. If you set it as adult and then went to child and tried to use it, you'd just set a different one as child.

I would imagine if you have the settings set so either adult or child can be anywhere and can use any items it would work though I haven't tested it myself
