Now, I wouldn't have just let them drop down without care as he did, but it still wouldn't scratch anything. It's not going to scratch the paint because there are stainless steel plates under the hood pins.

Amber denoting front and red denoting rear. Their purpose on a car is to let people see how long the car is. Trailers have the same lights showing length and where it ends. The car was never painted, the wheels were not even close to the same, and it was titled as a 2015 Mustang. The only thing that made it an Eleanor was the grill, front valance, and hood. All of which could have been modified or changed to look "different", never mind the fact you can buy these parts from hundreds of online catalogs. The only reason he got hit was because he is a bigger youtuber and he called it Eleanor. All he had to do was change the title to his videos, and bleep him saying that name, modify the grill, valance, and hood and they could have told them to take a flying leap. His lawyer sucks balls for caving and letting them take the car from him.

Many people are totally in awe and drool at the sight of this car, I'm not. I still consider the yellow 1971 Ford Mustang, driven by H.B. "Toby" Halicki, in the original 1974 movie "Gone In 60 Seconds" as the only Eleanor. Halicki not only drove the car, but was the movie producer.

I've had a 1966 Mustang since 1997 and I think it's crazy that the value for a base 289 is about the same, however if it's anything above that such as a HiPo, Boss, Shelby, etc, they have gone up tremendously. I kind of wish I bought something a little higher optioned because it would have cost about the same to fix up.

Eleanor, she is the only car I ever built myself. ;) I didn't even build the car I flew in Vegas in 1967. But I did have 9 cars built on the 48th floor of the hotel casino, so I could get the correct car for flying building to building in. The problem was, I didn't get to use the one I wanted to, I had to use the one closest to the window, because it was the only one that wasn't blocked off from exitting the building through the window toward the other building. There was only like 5 feet for getting acceleration too and no ramp to boot. People wondered how I sat in a flaming car for 47 minutes until the first responder finally made the run up the 57 flights of stairs to pull me out of a flaming car that had no gas tank in it and shouldn't have caught on fire..... It was the alcohol in the car in the back seat that caught the car on fire. I believe that is when it became illegal to drink and drive. Sorry people, fucked that up too, that on time in Vegas...... But atleast now it is legal to fly in any vehicle you can get airborne in and a quick flight to Las Vegas for gambling, where they always give gamblers free alcoholic drinks to keep people gambling.

By the way, the one closest to the window was the first car that was built that night, and the other 8 didn't really need to be built, but I kept making more people build more cars on the 48th floor until they got pissed and everyone told me, "we are not going to build you anymore cars for your suicide stunt, pick one now!" So I took some time alone to think about it and fix the first car up to make sure it was ready for the stunt. By removing a bunch of shit from it. I got 4 floors higher then I estimated I would. I estimated I would only go up or down 5 floors from the 48th floor, I was wrong in my calculations, because I was just taking a wild guess, and didn't calculate shit, like I was trying to convince people I was doing, making all kind of stunt calculations when I was alone.

There is actually a lot of flaws in this, I doubt very much this is from the movie. I have seen many replica cars that have those steering wheels, the bonnets are not shaped on the original bonnet, they are fibreglass moulds. Fuel tank filler is almost always moved to that spot, a sign of laziness in a rebuild if it hasn’t been done. I am happy to be proved wrong if the vin number matches that of the 3 cars that were from the movie.

One of the worst fake Boss 429's in history...it is all wrong...the consensus is it is a 69 Mustang GT or possibly a Mach I...just the most obvious stuff is the Boss didn't have hood pins, didn't have a rear spoiler and the hood/scoop were the body color...and the Boss scoop was HUGE...and the stance was much different with bigger tires (the rear fender wells were slightly rolled too to accommodate the bigger tires). And the wick car sounds NOTHING like a solid lifter Boss 9 Engine...to me it sound like a 351 Windsor and is not even a color offered in the Boss 429 in either '69 or '70.

Just listening to the thing told me it was one of 'the' cars alright. Sounds just like it did in the movie, one of the best sounding V8's of all time. Every Eleanor replica I've seen & heard sounds different because (I believe) that's a genuine 427 or 428 big block with a wild cam they used in the hero cars. Most replicas just have a Roush, or something similar, with a nice street cam that makes them easier to drive. They just don't sound the same.
