Whenever I play France, I usually like to do the expansionist way as it is really fun. I would rather go for the 2 islands in the English Channel because they're closer to my home guards then go for the Benelux. Like in your guide, I would take out Germany as early as possible to prevent it from getting it stronger and also get a huge population. Usually after that I would just chill and do whatever. For Colonial France, I only really play it if I want a chill game. Nothing else to say. I do agree that scorching the entire country is annoying and literally doesn't benefit themselves except show that they are a sore loser. I scorch my cities myself personally but they are to scorch the borders to attrition the troops or maybe just their cities I captured. For the video, I really like how you explain things so clearly without wasting time on off-topic things (like I do).

I don't like doing the 2 channel Islands since they are on water and takes more time but it still works, when calculating distance in the early game it's better to account justification time since you want to be as efficient as possible like land>water in damage

The problem about tank spamming is that some countries research and even max out anti-tank technology. A tip is to use tanks in early-game and then switch to infantry in late-game. Also, I followed your steps on being Expansionist France and then I formed to the EU on July of 2032!

They can’t max out anti tank early on, but late game, I move to infantry as it is so good specialised and max research

Oprning Steps : Justify on both Monaco and Andorra Split your capital troops. Then send the 70k troops to Monaco and the 60k troops to Andorra And make 10k troops to a city near andorra Then get factory output 2 Build one motor factory one Fertilizer factory one steel factory and one electronic factory (note : you have to do this for 3 civ factory later on) Get mass attack after the 10k troops are cooked up And make a random military group And now kill Monaco and andorra Justify on Belgium and Netherlands And you can buy resources now Now end the war with Monaco and Andorra (do this when ever they are in your map of cities in France) And make 3 civ factorys And then build one extra motor factory And a other 3 civ factorys Opinional : get government spending to max War on Belgium and Netherlands Justify on lex and any other countries

Sometimes I just grow my economy with consumer goods (6 factoriess) and see if any major nations are ai so i can sell it to them. If they aren't AI, I sell 2 consumer goods to AI countries in the negatives and then I use armored fist as well as setting military spending to max during a war against the other major powers around me

Thanks man, I used something similar to this strat and managed to form French Empire about an hour ago from the time I posted this comment. I ran into a few issues however, an expansionist Nigeria, an aggressive UK, and a China who literally attacked me because he was bored. But I managed to overcome those challenges mainly because I used this strat. Thanks to you I managed to form the French Empire and now I can flex my Maréchal title 👍

Good guide. The only issue is foreign aid. If a player is allied to a superpower, the superpower can give the nation millions of manpower and cash. Other than that, very good guide.

I have them pretty much memorized, reading a list is too time consuming. If a superpower is taken i just sell what i can to smaller countries and rely on plundering other nations treasury

I chose 3. Declare war on germany, lose, start ww3 with allies, gain german territories, fend off 3 different nations, win the war, gain 0 stability (that actually happened) gain 10 wae exhaustion, oil deficit, deficit, independence, fix nation with policies and leave the game.

i think i like playing france now, mostly i can make german players mad First factory output 2 public service act then press censorship take andorra, monaco just like you then make tanks sell 5 electronics each to 5 countries after i get the money ill build 1 fertilizer and 3 civs then sell them take netherlands belgium and if germany has like nothing prepared are most of their army is busy invading czech or poland, i justify take rhineland then auto capture after that ill just take some african country or expand more in europe

You really found the easiest server to do this on. 5:15 - Troops entrenched on cities only get 1.15x entrenchment max so rushing the capital would only cost you only a little bit more tanks. 6:00 - You could build roads and send your main force to Spain and then to Italy. The reason the uk got a landing is because you didn't use your navy Your grand master rank should be removed.
