Arkham Knight is an alright game The graphics and gameplay Combat is very smooth It’s just that they went too much with tank shooting sections Still Arkham Knight in my opinion fells like satisfying and true ending for Arkham Batman As for Venom in Marvel Spiderman 2 even if it wasn’t Eddie Brock they made Venom like how he should have been in Sam Raimi Spiderman 3

Kefka killing Gestahl and tearing the world apart in Final Fantasy 6 should be on this list. That plot twist changed EVERYTHING, including the shape of the world. Kefka won, and the entire planet lived under his rule for a full year.

@timcasey8314 I can certainly respect that viewpoint, but for me, FF6's twist is more impactful in terms of scope. Aerith's death was tragic, but the story more or less stayed on course. After Kefka did what he did, EVERYTHING changed, including the face of the entire world. For a full year, Kefka had WON. It would be like if Meteor struck sooner than expected, re-arranging the Planet's continents, and the player takes control of Tifa after a year-long coma.

Outer Wilds has a nice one too. Sort of. Realizing there's nothing to be done to save the Hearthians, cause the Nomai had nothing to do with it to begin with, is kinda heart shattering. Aerith’s theme was more part of a plot rather than a plot twist, cloud’s unreliable narration and Tifa’s silence about it was the real plot twist of ff7

You know that’s funny. I remember seeing a playthrough of Arkham Knight, but I skipped through a lot of the content and so I missed the “twist” the first time around. It wasn’t until 2022 after I saw Batman Under The Red Hood and my growing obsession with Batman content led me back to the Arkham games that I finally found out what I missed out on for so long. The Batfamily is one hell of a dysfunctional yet intriguing group..

Well, at least FFVII's plot twist made it in as far as JRPGs goes since plot twists are pretty common in those types of games. Here's other spoilers I think of (spoilers below for Danganronpa franchise, Kingdom Hearts 3, Tales of Symphonia, 13 Sentinels, Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice, and the OG Metroid)- Danganronpa 1- This game is chalk full of plot twists but the biggest for me was how 2 years had past in between Makoto arriving at Hope's Peak to when he woke up after passing out and that the world had ended too. DR2- Hajime being the Mastermind of the game. DRV3- Everything is 'fictional'. Kingdom Hearts- Another franchise with plenty of plot twists, but the one that still shocked me the most (so far)- was learning that Xigbar was actually Luxu. Tales of Symphonia- Learning that Kratos is Llyod's biological father. 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim- The entire game takes place in a simulation on spaceship and earth is gone. AA: Spirit of Justice- Durke is already dead when the final chapter starts. Metroid- The OG plot twist if you ask me- Samus is a girl.

I liked the plot twist of Gunvolt Cronicles LAiX. During the two phases of the final boss, you (the player) find out, that the protagonist, Copen, turned himself into a cyborg. And on top of that, they explain the Game is placed 100 years after the bad end of Azure Striker Gunvolt.

I figured Odin was Tyr from the start. Odin is notorious as a smarmy schemer and we conveniently find Tyr right after Odin tries and fails to con and intimidate the group. But Brock’s death was still a surprise.

(In case youre wondering why thsts so important: only asgard had vegtables as the other realms weren't able to be acessed yet, unable to make plants needed or too dangerous to get them so odin smuggled in food from asgard and turned into tyr once he returns.
