You then recommend to sell them at around $108 per share. Profit: $0.50 per share. 232 x $0.50 = $116 (minus what you paid for the trade). .... Okaaay...

This is a simple presentation...gap trend trading with subsequent pullback entries. No mystery there. There are challenges traders may have with this particular presentation. Two that present themselves: Possibility of committing over half you capital to 1 stock 8 minutes or less into the open; and differing rules for long and short entry. This entire methodology could perhaps be automated, which is a good thing. With this type or any type of subjective trading, if not automated or systematic, profitability is simply coincidence.

Great presentation great strategy and great passion and explaining! Truth is however, you can play the strategy and be quite successful with a small trading account. I only keep $2,500 in my trading account and I'm able to make $500 consistently everyday following this strategy and more of Oliver Velez's strategies. It's all about patience and waiting for your play to be confirmed. The right stock will give you a decent profit for your buying power. We all have to start somewhere!

As (primarily) an options trader, by right stock I just mean what securities you're most comfortable with. i.e. their current share price, daily volume, and average daily price movement. I personally look into the option to chain of these right stocks to make sure that implied volatility is decent, greeks are decent, and the cost to be in the money is in my comfort zone. With this and a personalized / comfortable risk management system, you can choose the "right stocks" that fit your comfort zone. As for your second question, in my experience the market is about probability. This setup puts the odds in your favor tremendously and gives you a solid edge. YOU'll still have to be patient, fearless, disciplined, and in control of your emotions. The "right" stocks that happen to be in the picture of power at any given time is where you'd want to be.

Hi Oliver I have always had a question. If we go to the minute 34:26 you are telling us when and where to enter a trade and where to locate the initial stop (1 lot). When the red bar is ignored after that, that is the ADD scenario, so you will go LONG with another lot in (2 lots). How do you move you initial STOP? If you can't lose more than 100USD per trade, it means that the first STOP (1 lot) will have to be below the entry no more than one dollar of movement. Once you add (2 lots), your STOP to meet the requirements per trade, will have to be no more than 50 cents under the average price between the first lot location and the second lot location. Let's pretend the second green bar in the video, minute 34:26 is 60 cents long, would you still add after the red ignored bar even when the stop will not be able to be under the green bar? I just ask because if your stop is below the second green bar with two lotes in, but the bar is 60 cents long, in case of a negative scenario you will lose 120USD in one trade which is breaking the rules. I find that for intraday forex trend trading most important relevant (Guide)trend direction is ON 15 minute, 1h and 4h charts only-- For intraday trading weekly & monthly trends do not matter much(too far removed from intraday field of activity) & can be ignored. For simplicity sake if 15 minute ,1h & 4h trends are in the same direction, you have a trade set up in the same direction (one could fine tune entry 0n 5 minute charts). In general if daily candle be in the same direction for any trade it is better but not A must.--Sir, what do you have to say?

Do you know if there is a delay to the trends on Robinhood? Because if I was trying to follow along with this every 2 minute strategy, then I would want it to be super on point. It’s cool that you have found a strategy that works for you. But instead of just accepting that when you see a double bottom or top for a sell trade. Dig deeper and find out exactly why price reversed from that particular area and you will have a better understanding of what is actually going on, Your strike rate will get higher and you will be able to refine your stop losses resulting in a higher risk/reward ratio, Go deeper brother and you will find yourself having another breakthrough, there are many more ‘Aha’ moments ahead of you yet, best of luck to you!!

Not sure about USA but the main issue in the UK is that the broker spreads, margin required and charges makes it very hard to use his strategy. It may work for Oliver and his crew as they are no doubt are getting tight spreads, but for the average retail trader the odds are very much against you. You really need a strongly trending market for it to work

True same here when I use pepperstone UK you always enter a trade in massive negative and thst sucks but use you confluences and confirmations that you will cover the loss and be in profit in the next 4 candles.... If Ma's are crossing for the trend... Stock in the right place /direction and correct entry candle have faith and enter asap with the ryt stop-loss u will be fine and your broker will have to stock up just for your withdrawals weekly lol... My question is simple. Why not exit the trade if the stock DOESN'T breakout and keep going away from your entry and then simply re-enter when and if the stock breaks back over your initial entry again? You're holding in hopes of continuation, so why not simply reduce loss and get out of the trade if it doesn't go immediately, and then re-enter at the same spot, when it does?
