Shaking Closed carbonated drinks is totally fine if you get rid of the introduced air bubbles that can sit at the Walls of the Containers. For example if you shake a closed plastic Coke bottle and tap on the sides Until the build up bubble move to the top, it won't create a mess!

This is caused by the air and the ice, both of which have a low amount of friction. Since there is very little friction it hardly warms up the can.
