In my case system did react, at car park, when i tryed to quick to take parking bay on front of wall, my accelerator was at about 40% down. So even if u do not release pedal it disconnect it and apply brakes itself. I did not expect it and it was first time when city safety was activated

this works for under 9 mph and for under 18 mph it's only gonna slow down to minimize the impact to 50%, after 18 mph you are on your own, still pretty cool.

After the system is activated and stop the car Do you need to step the brake again to keep the car stay? Last time I used this system and it did stop the car but I was to surprised to step the brake on my own foot and then here is tragic... the car automatically go forward ... and hit the barriers

Intrigued that someone commenting about cars would steer with one hand and cross hands on the wheel. The best thing you could do for yourself and other road users is to adopt an attitude of safety. Start with using the controls correctly rather than casually and inaccurately.
