There's no real plot in Touhou, it's mainly comedy and slice of life in a very lore heavy universe. The games are definitively not for everyone, though the fighting spin offs are more accessible to poeple with normal human reflexes ^^. I highly recommend the mangas, they're really funny, charming and have zero fanservice. There are also fanmade anime you can find on KZbin. They're professional quality and adapt some game plotlines.
