So i went to look up pathos after the line "scorching pathos if you betray your memory" and i learned that it means a quality of pity or sadness. So the vocals basically mean "scorching sadness if you betray your memory"

I have seen a couple other rock/metal versions of this particular song. They all were actually not TOO bad overall. But when the guitar first kicks in at about 0:17 in your version,oh hot damn it was SO EPIC! Your version's music just seems to have sounded much cleaner and sharper overall for some reason is the best way that I can describe it. And it sounded like it was MUCH cleaner and sharper at 0:17 especially. And so when the guitar first kicked in there,it was WAY more apparent and epic at that point in the song than in the other versions. This was a REALLY good song overall in my opinion.
