I am a motorcycle enthusiastic... I love making videos with motorcycles... and some how I travel a lot... and this is how travel moto exists.
I want to let you guys know that I am not the best rider ever who speaks good English and knows much about details of the bikes... I just love what I am doing.

Ante Stankovic , Съвременният УРАЛ няма НИЩО ОБЩО с БМВ. Дори и Външният ВИД Е СЪВСЕМ РАЗЛИЧЕН. Да през 1940 да но Съвременният дори от 1950 година на сам УРАЛ са е ПРОМЕНИЛ КОРЕННО. Съвременната Версия е просто ПРЕВЪЗХОДНА И НЕ УБИВАЕМА МАШИНА , за разлика от Останалите Производители който всичко е от Пластмаса , за да е ЕВТИНО. А и БМВ и те Произвеждат този Двигател , по точно ОПИЗОТЕН ДВИГАТЕЛ и до Ден Днешен , просто е Модернизиран. Същото са сторили и на УРАЛ. Просто Съвременният Двигател на УРАЛ е Не убиваем и РЕМОНТО ПРИГОДЕН което е НАЙ ВАЖНОТО. Може Всеки ДИБИЛ да го РЕМОНТИРА НА ПЪТЯ , и то с ПОДРЪЧНИ СРЕДСТВА и да продължи по Пътя си , затова че Съвременният Урал само на Външен Вид е КЛАСИЧЕСКИ , а това се ТЪРСИ. Най Важното е че МОЖЕ ДА СЕ ДОВЕРИШ НА НЕГО ,и знаеш че и каквото и да се Случи ще те закара там на където си ТРЪГНАЛ.

михаил николов Dear Sir, my comment was about history, not about today Ural bikes. The origin was BMW technology. In Wikipedia you can read: "According to official accounts, after lengthy discussion, the BMW R71 motorcycle was found to closely match the Red Army's requirements. Five units were covertly purchased through Swedish intermediaries. Soviet engineers in Moscow dismantled the five BMWs, reverse engineered the BMW design in every detail and made molds and dies to produce engines and gearboxes in Moscow. Early in 1941, the prototypes of the Dnepr M-72 motorcycle were shown to Stalin who made the decision to enter mass production. One of the original BMWs purchased through the Swedish intermediaries survives, and is displayed in the IMZ-Ural factory museum"
