The 2019 BMW M5 Competition is UNBELIEVABLY FAST! *First Drive Review*

The BMW M5 Competition is an absolute animal. I review the BMW M5 competition and take you along and show you the sounds, accelerations, interior and exterior overview of BMW's supersaloon. The bmw m5 competition runs a 4.4 v8 twin turbo and produces 616 bhp and a 0-60 time of just 3.3 seconds according to BMW although most have timed the M5 at 3.1 seconds. It is so quick and with awd and 2wd modes it makes the m5 comp a brilliant choice of car whilst having rear seats and a large boot!

I have the standard M5 and whilst the comp has been tweaked I can assure you the standard is still a great DD. There’s nothing in the drive between the two on UK roads and the comfort level is a little more acceptable given the poor state of our roads here in the UK. BMW have however created two magnificent machines and I’m very fortunate to have one to hoon around in.

Me too! Picked up m5 a month ago and bloody love it. I have driven the competition twice and found the suspension too stiff for a roads and motorways even in comfort mode. Not too kenn on all the back trim too. Love it

I can't really tell they are doing it at all. It's quite quiet when turning of the exhaust and eco mode. It 'could' be louder in full on mode inside, but it's following the new sound restrictions in EU (next gen E63 will be much quieter as well :(. I could not honestly tell if they are or not doing it, but the car has a lot of sound insulation, so it's kind of quiet inside with windows up ...

Stef ABtv indeed. My car was about £30k new. I bought it at three and half years old 4 years ago, for £12.5k. Ok it had done a few miles, but its still reliable and in great condition. These F90 M5s have become an amazing performance/luxury bargain 👍

At 190 ... you do feel the speed :) It feel at home 80-130. It's almost 'too good' .... it does exactly what it's marketed and you expect ... but sometimes too good is not 'good'. Impressive, capable and fast, but perhaps a bit boring (still driving it daily for another month, before I get back into my 911 Turbo S ... to see if I really enjoy the 911 then, or if I want back to the M5). Put 5,000 miles on it in 10 days ...

WTF...How much well over getting on for 110K for a pimped 5 series with a hideously cheap badge on the tail and a ride quality that is almost undrivable on anything but perfect tarmac. For the price you are into 991 GT3 and McLaren 570 territory. No contest.
