Was thinking about getting new bindings this year. Have cartels for a few years now and was thinking about maybe getting the malavita, but I think I would like the bit extra stiffness.

I've been riding Cartels since 2007. I love them, but was considering going with a Now binding for next year. Which Now model would you compare to the Cartel? Or should I just stick with Cartels? Thanks

Well the Cartels have come a long way since 07 so the new ones don't suck. But if you're going to look at Now's I'd say the safe bet is the IPO.

@@AngrySnowboarder Thanks so much for the reply. I really appreciate it! I actually picked up a Burton Process Ltd. this year, with last years EST Cartels. The bindings are great, but coming off a Custom X, the Process was a little lack luster, so I'm looking at a Lib Tech Hot Knife, and unfortunately will need a set of non-est bindings for it. Do you feel the Now IPO, or the Cartel is the better bet for the Hot Knife? Thanks again

If you're going Hot Knife I wouldn't go IPO, probably go something like the Drive from Now instead unless you want the binding to be a little softer. If you go back to Burton I'd do the Genesis over the Cartel.

Just got a new set up this year, I was riding bataleon whatever, with the trv rice unions and 32 tm2 boots Now bought the capita mercury and the 32 tm3's and looking for new bindings. I'm not a park rider or good at jibbing. I tend to go off piste where I can and hit the groomers when the snow is shit. Won't be doing a season so 100days max per season now. What's your advice for a good all mountain for that set up? Looking at Strata Force Cartels Molavida 95kg 20 yes riding Aggressive and fast Open to suggestions?

Go with the Genesis over the Cartel or Malavita. Strata over Force.

They went to a traditional ratchet strap on the Cartel this year. Not sure why though.

Awesome sauce, so how does the highback stiffness compare in the vita and cartel? About the same?

Cartel or Ntro Team Pro? I have ridden the Genesis a few years and really liked it. Then tested the cartels and liked it even better. Now i could get the cartels or the Nitro Team pro on sale. The Nitro Team pro sounds interesting and on the nitro I could adjust the stance. What are your thoughts?
