Have a 2013. Love it. Upgrading to a 2015 S600 (130 K msrp) for 48 K with full warranty. LOVE MERCEDES. They have never left me stranded and protected me completely when I got t boned. No car is engineered the way Mercedes are. Driving experience is unparalleled. Prior to this I drove Lexus only. I wouldn't go back if you paid me.

Mercedes makes their turbo mufflers with holes so all that air travels around in different directions what you can do is get a after market “turbo muffler delete” and the air goes straight through and gives no turbo lag

This review won't apply to most people since a very highly specced car was reviewed. This is more like the 60k C class than the 40k one. The options that are on this demo car, the base cars don't have and it is giving a false representation of what most customers are going to get in their cars.

FWD vs RWD and size class? The ES is a bargain with more space. The closest Lexus competitor to the C Class is the IS, the ES is closer in size to the E Class. I'd lease a Mercedes, but buy the ES for the long haul.

They have run flats. If you get a flat (even if you totally blow the wall of the tire) you can drive on them for another 50 miles (or more in some cases) till you get to the dealer or mechanic. They’re expensive though. Roughly $400 per tire. They are very convenient though.

​@@SpyderRios which one you drove, the luxury package or the sports package because there is a huge difference in the suspension between them, you need to drive it more than once to feel how stiff is the suspension on the sports package, I suggest renting one before you lease or purchase, I leased mine for two years and it was not pleasant at all, has a very rough and bumpy ride for a family luxury sedan.

T-Tops For Life it was a regular model. I want the AMG line which I know has a stiffer suspension but I doubt it compares to my 2011 Mustang GT with track pack suspension and lowering springs. I am willing to sacrifice a bit as I like the AMG look a lot better than the regular C300 which looks a bit basic

@Peder Hansen It depends on circumstance. The turbo fours can be had in most circumstances when the turbo is not spooled by a V6. If zero to sixty is important to you go for turbo four, otherwise, if smooth driving on streets is important, nothing takes place of a naturally aspirated engine (six or eight is my flavor).
